Description
Locksport enthusiasts enjoy practicing with truly challenging lock combinations, and they prize being able to rekey those locks at will. This excellent practice kit not only supplies a hefty selection of 6-pinned, high quality KIK-style practice locks, but it also includes the GSR Enterprises top of the line "universal type" practice lock stand; the LocksportXPC Stand. Also included with this sizable kit; a pair of pin tweezers and our exclusive EZ Rekey Conversion Kit. This is a modified top retainer for any one of the practice locks in this assortment with removable top cap (you will have four such locks in this set). Just remove the existing top retainer on one of those locks and replace it with our modified top retainer and from that point forward you can repin (rekey) the lock any way you choose without the need of tools. This process is amazingly fast and super easy. We supply enough extra bottom pins in this kit to create literally thousands of pin combinations, from ridiculously easy to feverishly difficult. We also give you 6 spool drivers to make combinations near pick-proof. This kit includes the following KIK-style 6-pinned practice lock cylinders: Cutaway with KW keyway, cutaway with SC keyway, standard with KW keyway, standard with SC keyway, standard with Sargent LA keyway, and standard with Yale YGA keyway. Each cylinder is supplied with a working key. Note that all these locks can be rekeyed in the standard way if you have a plug follower and you understand how to rekey locks using standard techniques. Use the conversion kit to convert one of them into an EZ Rekey lock and you will be able to do the rekeying with no prior rekeying experience, and with no tools required. Note, too, that the LocksportXPC Stand, as illustrated in one of the accompanying images, is capable of holding a very wide variety of practice lock cylinder types, including: KIK cylinders, mortise cylinders, rim cylinders, I-Core cylinders, Euro profile cylinders.

It's excellent
Smaller than I thought; but it's a bang for the buck

Good lock set for starting lockpicking
I'll give this a solid 4 out of 5.The locks are in good condition and I like the fact that they include a key with them. I sort of wish that they labeled the locks. I went thru with my label maker and labeled them and their associated key. Re-pinning the Kwikset and Schlage locks are pretty straightforward. It is a bit tricky getting the cap off the lock, but once you figure that out it's pretty easy.The stand is basic. You can't see the pins on the cut away locks, but to a degree I think that is the point. You want to mimic the fact the lock in is a door when using the stand.Overall I would recommend this set.

Bought this as a gift for someone who has been fascinated with locks for a long time
This was a great buy. It made a wonderful gift and has created a full-blown hobby in our house.High quality, robust and a great way to practice

The vice/stand is garbage
The media could not be loaded. Stand is useless. Can see the pins when they are cutout lock for training... doesn't make any sense. I just started locksport about 2 or 3 months ago. Lock were easy pick at my novice skill level. 1 gave me trouble with a no touch pin. Used lishi a single pin pick. Even raked/zipped 2 of them. Great starter set but.... I found a better single lock repinable set elsewhere. Cheaper and way better.

Great set, came before Christmas. 5 star everything.
Set is awesome, different locks provide different options for practice. Big "puzzle game" for the house. The holder is awesome too. Also you guys got it to me before Christmas. Got one for myself as well as a gift for someone so it meant a lot.Thanks again guys

Best Practice Set Of Locks I've Bought Yet! Love the stand and amazing key cuts! A Must Buy!
I was a bit reluctant to purchase these. I've bought lots of used locks on other sites and even on here. I saw the nice assortment of lock brands and two that are cut to show pins. and it comes with a stand. The stand it what I was looking for in the first place. But I just received the locks and stand today and I'm blown away. The stand works great and the locks have such great various cuts not all flat or deep like many. They are a nice to practice with. Then the two cut locks are wonderful. Not only are the sides cut so you can see the pins but so is the top of the cylinder so you can see the pins down in center showing the sheer line for both the top pins and the bottom pins.The pins and with mine I received a reverse Pin tweezers that I had bought before for $15.00. Great value!
