TECHEF - AGNI Portable Butane Gas Stove Burner, Camp Stove, Made in Korea

What started as a venture for increased efficiency ended with this little gem. Allow me to explain.For many years I cooked on a 5 burner propane range, which at the time was appropriate because we had a larger family. But the oven was cavernous, very slow to preheat, and the burner rings warped easily. After replacing the thermostat and another costly part in my oven, as well as the burner rings several times, to the tune of several hundred dollars, I was over it. I began looking around for affordable options, and wasn’t sure I wanted another range. It was at this time I discovered the Breville Air countertop oven. I bought it, and immediately loved it... a keeper!Oven problem solved...now my search turned to burners/cooktops. As I use my pressure cooker daily, I really only needed a single burner. I researched and bought an induction burner. I used it for a while and was very happy with it. But living in Maine I did need some sort of back up burner that did not rely on electricity. After some youtube research for alternative stoves, I discovered butane burners. I learned butane is a favorite of preppers, and in Korea, Japan, etc. to cook on table tops. Brilliant!!! After some additional research on Amazon, I purchased this burner.After arrival, I unboxed it, and was immediately struck by it’s clean lightweight design. I popped a canister of butane in and fired it up. I was immediately smitten. The lovely blue flame adjusts to a low simmer and up high to make things come to a boil very quickly. And the sound this thing makes when it lights up is just delectable- it’s a soft “woosh” that I just love! It’s use of fuel is very efficient, it’s Lightweight so it’s easy to move for cleaning, and the top pops off for a quick wash up in the sink. The butane canisters snap in easily, and stays firmly in place with a magnet. To start, you simply turn the knob to the far left...no extra switch to push. It looks great on my countertop.This unit was supposed to be a back up burner in the event of a power outage, but it has ended up being my primary cooking burner. Between the Breville oven, my microwave, pressure cooker, and this wonderful little burner, I have everything I need to turn out delicious and healthy meals, very efficiently. As a result, I got rid of my bulky, fuel gobbling, hard to clean propane stove. In its place I have a new stainless steel stand with shelving for the Breville and it’s accessories, and a lovely woven basket that holds my extra cans of butane for my cooker. While this wouldn’t necessarily be ideal for larger families, it is primarily just my husband and I now, and this set up works perfectly for us.I am so happy with the burner, and will buy another in the event that I need a second burner. Or, simply because I love it so much I really wouldn’t mind having another one to look at!

I have had this portable gas stove for a little over a week now and have been using it daily. This is actually my second one that I’ve purchased and they both work great! I live in an apartment that has an electric stove with elements that have a mind of their own when it comes to keeping consistent heat. I’m really grateful that there is an economical option so I can cook with gas. It is super lightweight, easy to use and easy to transport as well. They come in really handy during times of power outages as well. There’s just something about cooking on a flame that makes every meal come out perfect! I highly recommend!

I loved this product, it is of good quality, very economical.

Been using this for about 2 months, and so far it has worked fabulously! Butane gives out a much higher BTU rate compared to your traditional propane gas stove burner. What this means is that you're able to boil water faster, bring your pots and pans to a much higher temperature faster, and generally cook certain meals faster. Albeit, faster doesn't always equate to a better quality meal in some cases. I just really like this because as someone who isn't a professional chef, but wants to get a decent meal cooked for my nutritional needs, this gets the job done. This portable butane burner is incredibly lightweight and low-profile, so it doesn't take a lot of space, which is what I wanted. This works perfectly every time I ignite the burner, without fail so far. I was able to cook pasta, make pancakes, cook eggs, fried rice, sausages, you name it.The only thing about this, which isn't really a complaint, is that if you always keep the gas level really high, it'll use up the butane faster. You can lower it a lot more, and it will still keep the temperature just as hot as the hottest propane gas stove level. That way, you'll be able to stretch your butane gas canister longer.

I bought this for table-top use, and its functionality is perfect. The magnetic attachment of the butane canister allows for a clear and easy use. It was bigger than I expected. With the thinner profile compared to other cheaper burners, I was expecting the overall size to be more compact too, but the surface area that this would cover on your table would be the same as other burners. The surface is smooth and matte, which I prefer to glossy metallic finish. The color scheme is a little disappointing, as I would have loved the entire top section to be in the same gray matte color, similar to the MUJI burners, which in my opinion have the best looking burners. No other complaints though.

The old saying you get what you pay for definitely applies to this purchase. This is not a traditional camp stove. It is made in South Korea. It can be used to cook both in and outdoors, whereas camp stoves are generally limited to outside only. It’s well-made, comes with a magnetic connection for the canister, and definitely operates, looks and feels well made.

As a person who likes camping, this portable butane stove burner is one of the things you absolutely must take. It is unnecessary to buy charcoal, fluid, or lighter if you only have this item. I purchased this item because of design at the first time. However, this excellent performance saves a lot of time as a backup because it is very simple to set up, operate and clean.Not only that, It is great for doing tabletop cooking whenever you would like to cook Hotpot boil or barbecue. I enjoy cooking steak or fish on my balcony to avoid too much smoke inside. One thing I have been concerned is gas leak or smell while shopping for a portable stove, but no gas smell came from the burner when igniting or while cooking. I really liked the magnetic attachment.

I bought this burner to replace my Iwatani because it died after one year. It is a very similar stove from Iwatani. Unlike Iwatani, this stove has rubber legs. This stove solved my problem with Iwatani stove that slides and falls off on a countertop in my RV.Automatic safety shut off feature is the dealmaker for me. Since I am planning to use it for my RV, it is worth spending the extra dollars to buy this stove instead of the cheaper ones to have safety and reliability.A big bonus for me is this one had the most BTU power and it really generates high heat so I can cook quickly. I was able to boil water for coffee in about 15 to 20 seconds. It is not only a very nice aesthetically but also very high-quality stove. Very satisfied!

Works well but it must have come with a carry case or box.
