This collection includes: Prisoner in Cell 25 Michael thinks he's unique until he discovers that a cheerleader named Taylor also has special powers. With the help of Michaelโs friend, Ostin, the three of them set out to discover how Michael and Taylor ended up this way, but their investigation brings them to the attention of a powerful group who wants to control the electric children โ and through them the world. Michael will have to rely on his wits, powers, and friends if heโs to survive. Rise of the Elgen A mysterious voice leads the Electroclan to the jungles of Peru in search of Michaelโs mother. Once there, they discover that Dr. Hatch and the Elgen are far more powerful than anyone realizes; entire countries have begun to fall under their control. Only the Electroclan and an anonymous voice now stand in the way of the Elgenโs plan for global domination. But is the voice that Michael is following really an ally, or is it just another Elgen trap? Bonus Content: The Elgen Handbook Learn the secrets of the Elgen. Who are they? We loved this series
We loved this series. We used it as a read out loud, we parents founds ourselves on the edge of our seat, crying, laugh, and cheering for the electro clan just as much, if not more than our children. Highly recommend this series for a family read out loud!

Will interest any age
Surprisingly, as a man seventy-five years of age, I found it quite interesting to read. So much so that I did not put it down until completing the book. Although directed to teens with simple language, the story "begs" for a movie or tv series. I even bought book three and find Evans continues his simple, yet entertaining story telling.

Haven't finished it yet. . .
But I have a difficult time putting it down! It is a poor publication, but for the price, it is fabulous. Now I want a nicer book signed by Richard. . . Enjoying the story and the lessons behind it that stop at didactic.

Great series
If you're looking for a great series for 12 to 13 year olds (boys or girls), this one will fill the bill. I pre-read all the books before giving them to my grandson and found that they are chalk full of adventure and just the right amount of scary stuff to keep a young tween enthralled. My grandson loved them and read the entire series in about two weeks. He is impatiently waiting for the next book due out in Sept.

Bought this for a young teen. Read it before giving it to get a sense of the writing. Think it is good reading for a young person. A futuristic Hardy Boys theme.
