I’m trying hard to avoid sugary caloric treats, and the chocolate smartcakes are a perfect WW solution: only 2 points for 2 cakes. Top with a bit of Cool Whip and a dot of sugar-free chocolate syrup and the craving is conquered. I will say I detected a sugar substitute chemical aftertaste in vanilla cakes but customer service was excellent and allowed me a refund and a chocolate cake substitute for my purchase. I’m a repeat buyer. Not cheap but worth it to me to find a way to stay in track.

The review I’m submitting is not for the chocolate smart cakes. I’m writing this review for the lemon smart cakes. First, let me say that when I received the chocolate smart cakes they were dry, flaky and not fresh. I had ordered the lemon ones previously and they were amazing. I contacted smart cakes and let them know my problem with my chocolate smart cake order. The company immediately went into good customer service mood and offered to replace my order. I didn’t want to take a chance with the chocolate ones again, just yet. I asked them to replace the chocolate with the lemon ones. I received the replacement order in a few days. Kudos to you Smart Cakes!!!! I will definitely try the chocolate ones again at a later date since Smart Cakes stand behind their product. Thank you Smart Cakes for the love and hugs in superb customer service at this time as our country struggle toward normalcy. On weight watchers, smart cakes are only 1 point. I just can't buy this product anymore. Lately every box I get comes in moldy. This company is going to make somebody sick. They are good when you get a good batch of them. But for the money, I will take my chances on another product.

So these cakes are kind of expensive for what they are, but I kind of like them. They were a little dry and crumbly, but the flavor was pretty good and they weren't overly sweet. Since I try to eat as little sugar as possible, these are pretty good if you want a sweet treat, but I do doctor them up to make them tastier. What I do is I crumble a cake in a bowl. Then I mix it up with some zero sugar redi whip and drizzle it with some Lily's chocolate that I've melted. Sometimes I even throw in some cut up bits of sugar free max mallow marshmallows (vanilla flavor works really well). This cake also works well folded in to some sugar free ice cream. I've only tried the chocolate flavor so far but am interested to try a few more.

I am s glad a friend recommended this company. We got the muffins and these little smartcakes. Wow, even mu husband who is very critical of my low calories foods loved these. 38 calories per small cake and they come in packs of two. The chocolate flavor is great! They are fluffy and yummy and totally a perfect dessert! They aren't cheap but they are incredibly low calorie for what they are!

Absolutely delicious, really clean ingredients however ridiculously overpriced, there’s nothing in them that’s expensive or hard to source, there’s no reason for the pricing to be so “artificially inflated” I mean it’s not like they’re USDA Organic which they aren’t… it’s too bad because it’s like paying $2.50 per tiny, dry, unfrosted cupcake… they should be selling 8 two packs per $22.99 for a total of 16 cakes at more than a dollar per, not 4 two packs, it’s just too much money for too little product, shame on them

I bought myself a sampler box of these for my birthday in May. I was blown away. Then, I bought this box of chocolate ones as a treat for myself, and I was still blown away. The great thing, and the problem is that they fit so perfectly well into my diet. They taste great, they're convenient and I can actually eat them. I spend most of my day agonizing over planning the next day's food (I am on a very restricted diet and have been for four years) and making a treat fit in nearly impossible aside from these guys. The only issue is the price. I have spent the past few months trying to find something comparable in calories and overall nutrition that costs less and tastes as good. There's no competition. Literally. If you think you've found something better or the same for less, then it probably has a sneaky ingredient you weren't expecting in there or they'll discontinue it soon. At least these exist for when I can treat myself.

As expected, moist, and chocolaty. I can taste the erythritol, but still better then others. I will buy again. Good with my morning coffee.
