Works very well, but does need to be a hot setting.

Decided to try this after reading other reviews. Two cats, including one with a thick coat that's been shedding heavily in the summer heat, love to spend their days and nights moving between several of their own beds and fleece blankets normally used by their owners. The fur was heavily embedded and there was only so much a brush and vacuum could achieve. One cycle with this (using two sachets) and all the hair is gone. Brilliant stuff. Just a shame it's considerably more expensive here than what the supermarkets sell the 3-pack for.

I loaded the washing machine with 3 small pieces of pet vet bedding, 2 of which are used on the back of a sofa and a chair where the ragdoll cats sit, (hairy beasts) and a third piece that is used on the top of the dog bed. The washing machine was not overloaded. Put in Ariel pods and used 2 packets of this as the bedding was over a year old. It had been washed regularly, but just with detergent. The washing machine was put on a cotton cycle at 90degrees C. They came out clean, better than they were, but not hairless. The washing machine did not have the usual bits of hair to pass onto the next load, which I have been caught out with in the past, I now wash the pet bedding just before I run a cycle using vamoosh washing machine cleaner, generally on a 4-6week cycle. I will try it on the bedding on the cat tower and the dens and see what the results are like on those. I find it expensive to use on this type of bedding, 2 packets and the cost of running the washing machine at 90, especially as it does not seem to be as effective as I had hoped. Maybe it is to do with the very fine fur that ragdoll cats have as the cover on the dog bed came out better than the other two pieces

I have a German shepherd and this is great to remover any lagging dog hair on your favourite clothing. Cleans laundry very well, I always have a spare box of this at home. Never discontinue please

I have 5 cats and only one has short hair. Everywhere gets hair on it but especially the curtain that the pull through the cat flap. I've washed the curtains many time but the hair just clings on in there. I originally purchased this as a random buy in a shop, no thinking it would do much. I was so wrong - curtains, cat blankets, sofa cushions, everything I have washed comes out amazing. Now I have stockpiled. Shame it doesn't work on the cats!

Not sure about this product, maybe it removes some pet hair but so does a normal wash

I cover our sofas with cotton throws, specifically to catch dog hair and enable hot washing. I tried adding a sachet if this product to an 80 degree wash. No obvious effect. The washing machine still held hair at the end of the cycle and after tumble drying, the filter was full of hair. Next time I washed the throw on 90 degrees, again added vamoosh, still found hair so washed it again at 90 with another sachet. STILL there was obvious dog hair which then gathered in the dryer filter. Complete waste of money.
