Great Price, Great Value, Great Comfort
I always loved New Balance sneakers, but haven't been able to get them in my size in the big-box stores I usually shop at. I decided to try Amazon and as usual, not only did they have me size in stock, but they had several styles to choose from. I selected the MX409V3. The shoes came pre-laced and ready to wear. I decided to break them in where I work (and I'm constantly on my feet). They felt great! They fit just right for the size I ordered (10 D US). With the NB Ultra Soft Comfort Insert, I literally felt like I was walking on air, a feeling I used to always get with New Balance sneakers. After wearing them for my entire shift at work, I experienced no blisters, no soreness, and no leg or foot cramps. I hope New Balance continues to make this style, because when it's time to buy again, I will look for this style first.

Happy so say
When I read that U.S. Army Basic Training recruits now wear New Balance cross trainers (compared to the black combat boots I wore in Basic) I had to get a pair. These were very affordable. Happy so say, the light weight and superb support make this one of the best pairs of athletic shoes I've ever owned. Can't say enough nice things about the fit and comfort. I should probably buy a second pair now so that when these wear out, I can have the exact same experience.

New Balance quality. The memory foam takes a little while to break in.
I have been wearing New Balance shoes for years. I tried the casual comfort version this time and they are a bit different than what I am used to. The shoe itself is very similar to the other New Balance shoes that I have had but the memory foam sole took a while to break in. At one point, I felt like the back of the sole was broken in but the front felt like it was too high. I wore them for another week and they feel great now. If you have never worn shoes with memory foam soles, they are different. They are comfortable after they are broken in and eventually the foam seems to flatten and lose its effect. I wasn't a big fan of the Sketchers memory foam shoes so I was hesitant to try these. I will probably go back to the cross-trainer New Balance next time but these shoes are very close to the same thing.

perfect!
I paid right around $30 which is about as much as I wanted to spend. I've bought 2 pairs of shoes online now, this and a pair of etnies for the same price. I use the new balance for work, and I have to tell you that they are extremely comfortable. I thought there would be an adjustment period, but from the get go they have been great! The etnies I use as casual wear and they are comfortable enough as well, but I tend to work anywhere from 3 to 15 hour shifts and I'm standing/ walking for all of it. I'm very glad I bought these bad boys. I wear a size 10, but I always go half a size to a full size up. It'll save your feet people!

Wearability- last a long time and good fit
These seem to outlast any other athletic shoes I've owned. Even though these are Training shoes, I use them as walking shoes. I have been very happy with them. Other shoes, including lightweight New Balance walkers, will last 2-3 months. I easily get 6 months (over 1,100 miles) of use on hard surfaces(sidewalks and paved bike trails). Last pair lasted over a year. The fit is good but not perfect. I have a wide foot -pretty much an E width but a narrow heal. These D's are snug when new but within a week fit perfectly.

Fit as expected and comfortable
These seem to be a well made cross-training sneaker. I'm very pleased that the fit was proper. What I'm really enjoying about them is that they are light and very comfortable. The only weird thing is having very brite white sneakers on my feet. It's been a long time since purchasing a white sneaker. They'll be perfect once I scuff them up a bit. :)

Good for the price
These are great for light walking and for weight lifting in the gym. The sole has little give to it so you can lift heavy with out that feeling of your shoes compressing. They make for a good and steady platform. The build is good and the fit is perfect for us guys with wider feet. If you need food arch support you may need some orthopedic inserts because this show lacks in that area. Good buy for the price.

They're inexpensive!
Hey, shoes for forty bucks! They're my brand, and they fit my feet well, but they're built on the cheap. Everything is thinner, and lighter, and they don't come up as far as my other sneakers did, so it kind of feels like your feet aren't all the way down into the sneaker. Overall, they're comfortable, and they treat my feet nicely, and I appreciate that New Balance caters to people with extra wide feet.
