Baked Balance-N-Glow Illuminating Foundation - Light - Buildable Sheer to Light Coverage - Satin Finish

Ever since I got this in my ipsy bag about 6mos ago I've been in love!! I threw out all my liquid foundation, my pressed powder etc...this powder foundation is amazing! It literally is just like brushing on a 2nd layer of skin. It's not cakey like foundation n it's not powdery looking like powder, it's the perfect balance of buildable coverage, if u have certain things u want covered then trust me this will do it but if u just want a natural "better" version of ur own skin then this is THAT! I can't even explain how it does it but it goes on so easy with a makeup brush n is matte enough to look like actual skin but also has this kind of highlight in it to where it looks like real skin as well. Everybody knows that nobody has skin that is 100% matte naturally cuz we have pores n we naturally will glow in certain areas etc..AND everybody knows that nobody has naturally super luminous skin where your just shiny everywhere all the time so if u dnt have time for instance one morning, to do ur highlight...ur all good w this compact alone! U will still look NATURALLY glowing! Me, myself love a strong highlight so I always do a bit of contour n then a snatched highlight above my cheekbones, my cupids bow above my lip, n down the center line of my nose n then use left over on brush to swipe along my temples, arch of eyebrows n top of forehead but I have woken up late 4 wrk sum mornings n took my 2mins to brush on a light layer of this n been extremely happy walking out the door cuz I looked like I just woke up n left but BETTER! nobody could tell I had ANY makeup on, just super healthy, good, skin that had a natural glow. Or 4 the days u dnt want 2b "done up" n dnt feel like doing a full makeup face...just using this compact, shaping ur brows, a lil mascara n sum tinted lip balm n u will look amazing. I swear I will praise n preach about this product FOREVER n TO whoever will listen bcuz its THAT damn good! Just pick the shade that's as close to ur skin color as possible n ur good to go! Btw, that's another thing about it...it magically finds a way to match ur real skin color even if u dnt get the exact color u needed! Of course if ur like a fair/light and u buy a deep tan u already no thats NOT going to happen on any level(or any planet lol) but if ur just a shade or 2 off it will work itself out. It never looks fake, it's so natural that's y I love it as well cuz I tan alot n there's been times I stop tanning for a month or so n I was able to still use the same compact after I had faded ALOT n it never looked bad, it somehow blended itself n I used a big fluffy brush to brush some down my neck a bit(which I do everyday anyway) n it never looked like I had a dark face n light skin at all! It looked like at most, I had a lil bronzer on or had a tad bit of sun on my face but blended seamlessly in with the rest of my body. So anyways yeah!! This product is life!! I also use other laura Gellar products now like her lip scrub lipstick which is all natural n wrks beautifully in getting old dead skin cells n anything else off ur lips b4 u apply ur lip product of choice n ur lips look 100 times better! But yea Laura Gellar baked balance powder foundation ALL THE WAY! I promise u will get rid of all other face products u thought u needed b4!! (Aside from ur blush/bronzer and highlighter if u use those things)

I have ordered this makeup twice so far. Because the price was very cheap and it is a very good quality brand name. It goes on easy and looks flawless with excellent coverage. I use a liquid foundation and use a powder puff to apply it. It doesn't take much and it last all day. I wear it daily and it is easy to remove.

Very natural looking. Perfect match for my skin tone. I’m 44 so I do have sun spots like crazy and it covers them pretty well

If you haven’t tried Laura Geller’s makeup brand, well you should. I have found the it is very light and doesn’t feel like any other product I have tried. I have dealt with pimples before and I have sensitive skin. I have not had a breakout since using her products. Lightweight, natural appearance, no skin irritation, very good color match, easy application.

UPDATE: I have used this for a week now and wanted to give an update to my review. I had mentioned the product made my face burn when I first used it, it's no longer doing that although my face is still red when I take it off . Second, I have found it doesn't go on uniform and leaves your face very splotchy, some areas very dark while others are lighter, This happens especially when you're trying to build it up, and if you have to rub your face for any reason, such as blowing your nose, it comes right off. You'll spend the rest of the day very splotchy; for this I dropped a star. It does provide the light to medium coverage that it says it does (don't expect full coverage). Also, I purchased the light (I normally wear a medium) and I feel it's still too dark for my skin tone. It says you can go up or down one shade either way but I'm not seeing that. I went down a shade from my normal foundation color and it's still too dark and looks like I've had my face in a tanning machine. I'm not planning to return because I do like using it very lightly over my foundation, I think it works very well for that purpose but as for foundation, I'll be sticking with my Estee Lauder! ORIGINAL I got this today and had to try it. I was very skeptical that it would give any coverage but I was very surprised. I would say it gives light to medium coverage but is definitely buildable It covers well, goes on very smooth and feels lightweight on your skin. The reason for only 4 stars is because I have controlled. I have only used Estee Lauder facial products for the last 15 years because they do not bother my rosacea at all. However, even though this product says it is good for people with rosacea, as soon as I put it on, my face started to burn so I washed it off. I didn't keep it on long enough to tell if it creased but I'm going to try it again tomorrow and I will update the review once I give it a second try.

I have used Laura Geller years ago, and for some reason, can't remember really maybe color was wrong. Anyway, my niece came to visit and her skin looked just smooth and beautiful like flawless, I ask what she used on her face and she said been using Laura Geller baked Balance =n-glow . I ordered it right away in the porcelain and I LOVE it, I have wrinkles as I am older ( 81) but just love how it makes my skin feel and how easy it goes on. Over the years getting older has made pores on my nose bigger, and I was worried how this would work and it works excellent covers the little red marks perfect. I will never go without this so much easier then ligiid foundation.

I like the product and have been using it for over a year now. Nice coverage and feels good on my skin. Does not cause me to break out. This last purchase of the same product, same color came, and it is way too dark for me. Completely different shade! I didn’t open it until I needed it, and now it is past the return time. Now I am worried about buying another.

I wear a very light foundation then put the Laura Gellar Balance n Glow Illuminating foundation over the top to give a beautiful light from within. It is very a suttle glow , which looks beautiful. Doesn't settle into fine lines and wrinkles and is buildable. I get a deeper shade to put all over my large forhead.

I'm only 2 days in, and so far I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!I picked th we perfect shade, it looks like I have absolutely nothing on my skin.My technique for my aging, rough texture, enlarged pores, age spots, broken capillaries:First I moisturize let it settle a bit so it's not greasy,then I use ELF poreless putty on all my textured areas.Then I use NYX Bare with me prime set refresh spray. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes.Apply this product with a tight kabuki brush.I follow up with NYX contour and blush.Spray again with the NYX bare with me to set. Done!All day flawless looking skin, no expensive primers and such required, these affordable products work perfectly.I am so glad I tried it. I haven't enjoyed my skin in a few years and this in just 2 days has made me feel pretty again.It was worth every penny.
