Good set of little scrubbers.
These are actually really nice little scrubbers. Online, they sort of looked like they might be made out of foam, but I took a chance anyway... and I'm glad I did. They are true bristle brushes... and the white bristles are simply very, very tight. Worked well on 140lb watercolor paper. Wouldn't advise being too aggressive with them... in order to avoid tearing up your paper... but super strength is NOT required. Simply use them gently, being sure to rinse well in clean water with each stroke, in order to avoid simply pushing the paint around, and be sure you are actually "lifting it!" They are a nice addition to your artist's arsenal.

Happy I bought them!
I've only used them twice, but both times the brushes worked very well! It's a great idea to save your delicate brushes for painting and use these for scrubbing. They clean very easily as well. Great that there are three different sizes to get the right tool for the job. Very firm bristles.

Some watercolor products stain worse than others.
Helps to reduce areas that need some corrections. Be sure to have a very damp brush . Don't apply too much pressure.

Great for pastel burnishing!
These scrubbers work miracles when burnishing my pastel art. The set is versatile, but the small burnished is particularly useful for getting to tiny areas that large burnishers cannot get to. I also use when lifting in watercolor. Be careful though, the brushes have very firm bristles and can damage wet paper. The price is good and the quality is outstanding.

Better than I thought!
I have resisted buying a scrubber for some time but am now so glad I bought these. The effects you can get are terrific, obviously changing according to the type of watercolor paper, but really impressive!

Ok but a little harsh
A little stiffer than I like. My previous brushes were from Cheap Joe's and were just a little softer, allowing me to preserve the paper. But they're no longer available... Bend these back and forth to soften a bit before use
