Runs fine with Ryzen 2700X
I've had one of these for a year (2x8GB of the RGB variety) running at 3200 MHz on Ryzen 2700X with MSI B450 Pro Carbon. They have an automatic default speed of 2400 MHz and two XMP profiles with 2933 MHz and 3200 MHz. Added another one for 32 GB recently (one year later), Machine would not boot at 3200 MHz with 32 GB, not even POST. Swapped the sticks around trying all combinations and it worked in a few others. New sticks in slots A1/B1 and old ones in A2/B2 offer the highest speeds. 4 sticks worked fine at 2400 MHz in any slot config. In one it worked at up to 2666 MHz and in two others it POSTed at 3200 but was unstable. In the worst of the slot configs none of the XMP profiles worked. In the best all configs worked but only 2993 MHz was stable. Attempting to set custom timings I found (via Thaiphoon burner) that the two sets (of the same model, bought a year apart) were in fact manufactured two years apart and had different RAM chips. In other words they were mismatched. Any combination of two sticks (from old and/or new sets) would work just fine at 3200 MHz but not all four. Ryzens inter core cluster CCX speeds are dependent on RAM speeds which means at lower RAM speeds some core to core to communication will be slower. This speed is usually the physical RAM clockspeed (half of DDR frequency). Having said that desktop Ryzen's 2000s max rated RAM speeds is 2993 MHz and anything beyond that is overclocking. For 4 stick configs officially AMD only guarantees 2133 MHz. Currently running it at 2933 MHz via an XMP profile and performance in CPU heavy benchmarks like Cinebench R15 are at around 99.8% of the 16GB 3200 MHz speed. Having said that speeds in apps like Photoshop and Audacity is much better with both apps starting up virtually instantly and running like greased lightning and Unreal Engine 4 doesn't slow down after a while especially after multiple undos. So real world performance for me at least is much better. The moral of the story being if multiple RAM kits are being paired together (even of the same make and model) they should probably be bought at the same time from the same vendor to ensure internal components tally and they can work at their maximum rated speeds.

Unbelievable overclocking potential
So far this memory has shown OC potential far beyond expectations, especially for the ludicrously low price I paid for two 16GB DIMMs. Stock XMP profile is 3200, 16-18-18. As a joke I upped the clockspeed to 3700 and the timings to 18-19-19 and rebooted into MemTest86 expecting the first test to error out immediately. Of course it didn't, and the memory cleared every test without error meaning they are stable at the increased clockspeed and timings. That is due, at least in part, to the Hynix CJR c-die modules Kingston uses for these. CJR/c-dies are known to be exceptional overclockers, nearly at the level of the out-of-production Samsung b-die modules. I should point out this is on an Intel chipset (z370.) AMD platforms are more sensitive to higher memory speeds because of the very different architecure and the way in which the memory controller is integrated.

Reliable and Stable Memory — Perfect Match for My Motherboard
My HyperX memory arrived safely here in Mississippi and has been working perfectly. This is the approved and tested memory for my motherboard, and that made a big difference. In previous builds, I never had compatibility issues, but my last PC build struggled with some non-approved memory I had purchased earlier. That RAM was two pairs of 8GB sticks (32GB total) rated at 4400MHz from Patriot, which I’d used without issues before. However, in this new build, I couldn’t reach anywhere near the rated speeds without serious stability problems and had to settle for the default 2333MHz or lower. Switching to this HyperX memory, which comes as a pair of 16GB sticks (32GB total) rated at 3200MHz and officially supported by my motherboard, made a huge difference. Right out of the box, it was running at 2400MHz without any manual tweaking. I’ve been running this setup for a few months now and am very pleased with both the stability and improved performance. If you’re building a PC, I strongly recommend sticking with memory that’s on your motherboard’s approved list—it really matters.

Still going HyperX for RAM. Not looking back!
With my second system build, I just had to go with HyperX again. I have to say, good build quality and nice RGB lighting. I just wish Kingston still offered their HyperX RAM in different colors like they did with their DDR3 Savage RAM. None the less, these sticks look good and take overclocking with ease.

Great product and performance! Make sure to check your MB specs before purchasing!
This RAM works and looks great! Unfortunately my motherboard doesn't support the Polychrome software. 😞 My only concern is, the motherboard I have is a mATX ASRock Promontory PRO 4 and according to their website can support 3200MHz RAM. After installing it, everything booted normally, but was getting occasional BSODs at random. Checked my BIOS and set on auto was only setting the RAM at 2400 by default. Then after setting it to 3200 was getting fewer BSODs. After taking my OC down from 3.9GHz to 3.6, it's stable. All in all, great RAM, just need to check your current specs before purchasing.

HyperX Predator DDR4 RGB 16GB kit 3200MHz CL16 - Terrific on X370 and 2700X CPU
I have used Kingston and HyperX RAM modules in the past, and Kingston is a reputable high quality supplier of RAM modules. I purchased this RGB 16 GB kit to use on an ASUS Crosshair VI Extreme (X370) Motherboard for a new build I am creating for my daughter using a 2700X AMD Ryzen CPU. In terms of pure technical performance, these 3200 CL 16 modules do very well with Ryzen, and they overclocked to their SPD settings with the DOCP control in the BIOS flawlessly. I ran a test of AIDA64, and the bandwidth was excellent, rivaling my overclocked X99 Motherboard. So, these RAM modules do perform very well, and I am not missing anything by not having a CL 14 RAM kit. The RGB implementation did not work at first with the ASUS AURA software, but the Tech Services folks at Kingston were kind enough to help out and now the RAM does sync up with the ASUS AURA software and the rest of my ASUS system. So, I am keeping this RAM kit, and pretty happy I purchased these, and thankful to Kingston for their excellent customer service. Well Done!

Perfect for my application
Memory arrived safe and sound to Alaska and works perfectly. This is the approved/tested memory for my chosen motherboard. I had never had an issue before with compatibility but my last PC build seemed to struggle at first with my non-approved memory I purchased previously. After installing this part my gaming PC was faster and more stable probably due to it being correct spec for the motherboard I was using. My previous memory was two pair of 8gb sticks (32gb total) rated at 4400mhz from Patriot which I've used on builds before with zero issues. When I was configuring my new PC I couldn't get anywhere near the rated speed without huge stability problems so had to run at default 2333mhz or less. I attributed this to the memory not being on the motherboard's approved/tested list. This memory from HyperX was one pair of 16gb sticks (32gb total) rated at 3200mhz. I saw an initial 2400mhz from the HyperX memory without even configuring/tweaking anything. I've been running this for a few months now and I'm pleased with the stability and performance of this memory.

Amazing RAM, not amazing LEDs
I bought two kits of the memory a few months apart. While the RAM is fantastic, the LED lights are completely different colors between one kit and the next. In one kit the LEDs are vibrant purple, the others are a lighter blue -- despite all colors being set to the same. While this isn't a dealbreaker, it's disappointing the colors are so vastly different. It throws off the look of my PC. As far as RAM goes they're a 5, but as far as LED RAM goes they're more of a 1 out of 5 because the colors are so vastly different -- so my score is an average of the two.

Speedy ram, don't forget to use xmp /docp to detect the right settings!
RAM installed no problem. Logged into bios turned on D.O.C.P setting auto detected the RAM speeds. Restarted and run stable at 3200 as advertised. IF you skip this setting your ram will only run at 2133.

Tolle Teile!
