I purchased this to repair my mothers lift chair simply because it had next day shipping. I also ordered a plastic one, which is what the chair has from the manufacturer. The plastic one took a week to ship, this one acted as a stop-gap. I recommend getting the plastic one because this metal arm is much more likely to cause significant damage. These are designed to fail when mechanism is in a bind, this protects the more complicated and expensive parts becoming damaged. I was simply in a unique situation and needed a quick fix, although it is nice to have this metal one on hand until I have the chance to order replacement plastic arms in the future. Be prepared for a struggle to remove the factory arm if it breaks at the threaded portion, extremely tight and hard to get any tools capable of gripping the plastic. Like I stated earlier, the metal one is nice to have on hand until you can get the plastic one. My mother has had her chair for 10 years and I've only had to replace this arm once, but we check the chair daily to see if it's in a bind. Also, this metal arm is very crudely cast, beware of sharp edges and burrs, I got a pretty good nick on my hand right out of the bag, recommend deburring it with a good file before handling too much bare handed.

Part stated it would fit my model. Didn't see the left hand thread statement but my part is right hand thread. The seller should be careful what they claim this will fit. Past the return window so I am out 15 bucks an now have to find "the right part". Thanks Amazon

The original part on my Father's lift chair was abs plastic. This metal version is obviously much stronger and fit perfectly. It was delivered quickly and fixed the broken chair.

Easy to install and fit like the original part. My 87 year old mother is happy to have her chair back in working order.

This one was metal n metal master rethreaded. Then it fit perfectly. The plastic was trashed. Could not do anything with it

better for repair than the plastic one that broke
