A Good Book
This book by Paolo Freire is interesting. However, each takes what he/she wants from the book. The education chapter stood out for me and is one that people must read carefully. This is not an easy book to read, especially the last chapter, in which he kept repeating the word, 'praxis.' However, I suggest that a reader read once, and then return to the book again, at leisure.

Invaluable for educators and people who care about education.
As someone who tries to be a good teacher, I've found a lot of goodness and solid practice in Pedagogy of the Oppressed. I was exposed to it through Augusto Boal's Theater of the Oppressed, which builds off of the frameworks that Freire lays out. The theory about radicalization and oppression at the beginning can be incredibly dense, to the point of feeling impenitrable. But, once I was able to get past that, I felt like I had a new perspective on my work in a classroom.

Whoever you are, whatever you do, this is a must read. A total classic that has changed education and participatory research, very relevant for today’s world.
