Cinema 3D Clip on Glasses for RealD IMAX 3D Movie,Lighter,Clearer,Brighter(2Pack)

I was a little skeptic at first. Clip-ons do not have a lot of support structure and the size was almost exactly the size of my lenses. Used them to see a Real3D movie to try them out. Once you get them on and situated properly, they worked very well and was the clearest I have seen a 3D movie. Having glasses makes any 3D movie problematic. I stopped going to Real3D and only went to IMAX 3D due to the glasses issue. Movie theatre 3D glasses are cheap and distort the picture and only IMAX 3D glasses were big enough to reasonable work over prescription glasses. These clip-on glasses with sturdy plastic lenses worked great. They are so light they may feel fragile. Once they are on you do not notice. The hard carrying case protects them and some care is needed in handling for longevity. Worth being mindful of the 2 sizes they come in and order the best size. The smaller size did cover my entire lense once situated properly. No movement of clip-on during movie. Great clarity and low weight. Works with Real3D in movie theatre. Not tried in IMAX as of yet.

These fit perfectly over my Ray-Ban club masters, and are the perfect size. Yes they do not fully cover my lens, but you don’t need them to. They cover a sufficient space to perform the function for which they were designed and that is to give you your own 3-D glasses to put over the top of your own glasses so that is somebody wearing glasses. You can actually go to the movies and have good vision. They also weigh about as much as a feather. Comfortable, good value, work perfect.

Works great! I have light weight glasses and it wasn’t pulling them down. Much better than the free ones they give you at the theater. Update: tried to use them yesterday. They no longer worked as well as the ones from the theater. Due to longevity I am no longer able to recommend.

The RealD ones worked great at a screening of Mission Impossible : Fallout. I don't actually wear glasses (got these for my kids who do) but I don't like how the ones from the theater sit on my face so I put them onto a pair of clear, blue light blocking, computer glasses and they worked like a charm. They actually seemed to make the 3D picture a little brighter than the theater glasses. They're super light and may feel a little flimsy. I also bought a pair that flips up and I think I prefer those simply for that feature. These claim less obstruction to your vision from the clips but to be honest, of they hadn't mentioned it, I don't think I would've noticed. Haven't got to try the IMAX ones yet, so will update at later date.

I recently got 2 pairs of these for my wife and me. They were really comfortable and resulted in a better 3d image then the throwaways the theater hands out. They were very comfortable as well. I have only tested the RealD pair so far at a Cinemark theater, based on how passive 3d works and RealD they should work everywhere else also that uses RealD 3d format. I haven't had a chance to test the IMAX ones. I was hesitant to buy them because I knew there would be a size difference, but once the movie started, I didn't even notice it. I wear Aviator style glasses so the lens size and shape didn't cover the full height of my glasses but it did cover the full width and had no negative impact on my viewing experience since when I was looking through the clip-on lenses the entirety of the screen was within my field of view despite my glasses lenses being larger. I got these because the last time I wore the ones the theater gave me they rubbed my nose raw. Took 2 weeks to heal so I vowed until I was able to find a good clip-on I wouldn't watch 3d in theater anymore. Luckily I found these. I see some reviews saying they don't work but for me these resulted in a more crisp and clear 3d image than any that a theater has ever given me. I can only assume those people used the wrong glasses for the 3d format presented. Everywhere I've gone always uses RealD or Imax but there's at least 5 different formats out there and each requires a specific level of polarization in each lens, and in some cases color filtering as well, to work properly. The whole list of formats is: Real D 3D, Dolby 3D, XpanD 3D, MasterImage 3D, and IMAX 3D. So make sure you buy and use the correct lenses for the format you're viewing/the theater you go to uses.

I bought these for a more comfortable 3D theater experience since I wear prescription glasses. I was disappointed when I tried to watch a movie and I compared the 3D clip-on to the theater ones. The theater ones were still better picture quality and I rather that over comfort. So I ended up using the free pair from the theater and I would "NOT" recommend buying the clip-on pair.

Like many people who wear glasses, I suffered through the post-Avatar era of the early 2010s by wearing two pairs of glasses to see every subpar 3D movie. When my fiancee informed me that we would be seeing Avatar: The Way of Water whether I wanted to or not, I knew that I needed to upgrade my 3D movie-going experience. I'm almost 40. There is no way I am going to sit through 3 1/2 hours of the spiritual successor to Free Willy by wearing two pairs of glasses! I am pleased to report that the glasses did their job well. It really is a great experience watching a 3D movie without feeling encumbered by the theater's glasses. I wear some bulky, thick-rimmed, Warby Parker glasses, and I had no issue clipping these on or taking them off. I wish I had them 10 years ago! I also wish the movie was better. Each pair of glasses comes with their own hard-shell case, so I just tossed them in my glove box until I need them again. I can't speak for the IMAX 3D glasses, but the RealD glasses are the real deal.

Al even op zoek naar een vervanger voor mijn vorige clip-on 3D bril. Vaak toch net niet, of hard plastic klemsysteem of teveel vh klemsysteem storend in beeld. Uiteindelijk deze laten komen en bevalt goed. Ziet er kwalitatief goed uit, lichtgewicht bril, fijn/dun klemsysteem met rubberen bescherming op de pootjes. Handige gebogen en stevige brillenkoker bij elke bril om deze veilig op te bergen. Op LG 3DTV werkt de real3D bril prima, de IMAX bril heb ik nog niet kunnen testen. Enige minpuntje zou kunnen zijn dat de 3D bril niet het gehele glas van je bril bedekt, afhankelijk vd grootte van je montuur. Op zich is dit geen probleem omdat je toch niet door dit onderste stuk kijkt, is ook niet storend. Zie bijgevoegde foto's op 2 verschillende monturen.

Al momento ho provato soltanto il paio adatti per la TV 3D della LG (3D passivo) e funzionano benissimo. Ottimo il sistema della clip che non dà fastidio nella visione.

My son wears glasses and it was struggle putting the theatre ones on top. This clip on totally WORKS at IMAX 3D. We watched Inside Out 2 with ZERO issues. It comes in a little case with a glasses wipe. Do not hesitate, get this!!!
