Heats up fast, very easy to use.
Very easy to use. Makes my terrible soldering skill passable. Obly thing missing is changeable tips, but for $27 this thing kills. If I break this one, I'll buy 2 more. Update, Still love this thing, got the extra tips. It's not the best soldering iron in the world but it's plenty good enough for $30. I don't hold the trigger down too long it heats up fast and mine hasn't burned out. I'm not a professional, so this just sits in a bag until I need it a couple times a year. Definitely invest in a holder for it, don't use that stupid piece of metal that comes with it.

Great iron for price and light use.
Ive bought 3 soldering Irons in past 2 years and this by far is best one yet. Im not saying this is top notch soldering iron among all offerd. But for the price tag its very good. The gun handle design is easier to handle but not to rest. You will need a good holder for it to rest in. The trigger for increased heat and heating up time is nice for those desoldering jobs. My only complaint is that there is no on/off switch on the iron or inline on cord. You must unplug it everytime or install your own switch.

Flimsy & cheap but suppose that was to be expected!
This product is really kind of a you get what you pay for a kind of situation. It does heat up pretty hot, but sometimes it takes a while and sometimes it doesn't, and there's no real indicator besides just waiting and testing and waiting and testing. It came with a plastic cover for the heating element but the packaging is all in a different language so it's not clear if it's a heat-resistant one. Also, the tool itself is so lightweight and the cord so heavy in comparison, it makes it a little awkward to use. If you need a high heat gun style tool, it makes way more sense to just shell out a little bit more to get a real one! And have a plan for where you're going to set it when it's cooling because it's not easy to keep them from flopping around because of the cord!

Great Solder Gun
This is a pretty good soldering gun for the price it is. I used it to solder some wires for a computer science project I had back in school. The tip of the solder gun heats up pretty fast making it easier to solder wires together. The nice grip of the gun makes it pretty comfortable to use also.

Over priced for what you get
No light. Cheaply made junk. Overheats if you pull the trigger twice. Read the horrible instructions. POS! Wish I never bought it!

Gets hot fast, wire is not cheap.
Impressed... Used the EXSO outside with a breeze and it gets hot fast. Will update if something out of the ordinary happens but I finally feel confident in my soldering joints.
