I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. The steel hardware and Rhino Armor exterior finishes are as beautiful as they are durable. The leather handles are thick and make lifting the trunk comfortable. The most important feature to me is the safety close lid. This is a well-made trunk, and the large lid has weight to it. Knowing that little fingers are protected from accidental slamming is priceless.

I read a lot of reviews about this product about the wood is not durable, but my advice about this product is to protect the wood with adhesive paper for wood material and that is going to be resolve that complaints. The material is overall good in the footlocker; it’s strong and good quality. I love it.

We bought this trunk for grandchildren as they headed off to college. These trunks are very durable, can hold a lot, transports well with removable wheels, and sturdy enough to stand or sit on!

Construction is solid. The green I purchased was a beautiful color just like the picture. Wheels are heavy dute and should let quite a long time. I am using this as my memory box as I have outgrown my previous boxes. This thing hold my whole life and as such it is heavy AF. Only thing I wish was that the handles were more padded because when it's heavy the current handles tear my hands up.

There's no attempt made to cover up the bare, unfinished wood on the inside - because it's so perfect, it doesn't need to be covered up. The latches, hinges, handles and edge trim are all beefy, flawlessly finished...and attached straight, square and true. Rhino also offers a "hardwood trunk tray" that fits inside this trunk - Same materials and build quality. BOTTOM LINE: This is a family heirloom-quality investment that will last for generations.

My daughter loved this for her 4 weeks at sleep away camp. Everything stayed bug and dirt free, and moving it out from under the bunk was easy thanks to the the sturdy wheels. We lined it with contact paper and recommend that it's just so that there is a moisture barrier between anything in the trunk and the wood in the bottom.

Received this on August 1st and did not have the wheels in the box. We just opened the box so we could pack it and no wheels..... We need it for college move in. We will have to contact the manufacturer to see if we can get wheels in time. Just received the wheels via FEDEx and they were extremely quick to respond and make it right. I would definitely buy one of their products again. The trunk itself is every sturdy and well made. It should last for many years to come.

This trunk is very well made and very sturdy. It will be a hope chest for my grand daughter. It will last her life time. Well done.

The trunk was sturdy. But be careful putting clothes/blankets inside as it can get caught on the screws and/or wood pieces (the wood on the inside wasn't sanded well, it at all). We returned it because it was shipped without wheels and we couldn’t wait for them to re-shipped.

This is a great trunk that seems sturdy. It is a lot lower than the picture insinuates, so make sure to check the dimensions. It is only 14 inches high, which is not as large as I was expecting based on the picture (In front of the couch, it seems like coffee table height). My fault for not checking the dimensions.
