Very effective with vintage fabric
I heard about this in a quilting site I belong to. I bought it to restore vintage fabric and it worked perfectly. The stains came out. It did lighten the fabric too but that’s okay because I would have had to throw it away.

Gentle cleaner and brightener
Excellent, gentle cleaner and brightener for old cotton fabrics. I've used it on two vintage (~25 year old) quilts with great results. It really does remove quite a bit of age-related yellowing and made the old quilts look refreshed and brighter. I'll definitely be buying this again.

No drycleaner needed!
This worked wonders getting my daughter's wedding dress clean... I didn't follow the soak directions - I washed on handwash cycle in my machine with a pre- soak and her dress came out beautiful! She had an outdoor ceremony that included some rain so her train got rather dirty and we just put her dress up to be dry cleaned later as she was also pregnant at that time. Well, this detergent was a lifesaver! No drycleaner necessary!

Fantastic Results!
This product is amazing! I was giving my son’s baby quilt to them for their baby and noticed several areas of yellowing. I ordered Retro Clean, followed the instructions and the result was a clean, bright, stainless and wonderful baby quilt!

It worked pretty good
Soaked 33 yo baby clothes for 24 hours in solution. I swear there weren’t any stains on the clothes when I packed them away to save for a future granddaughter. It removed most of the stains & made the clothes brighter. Now I’m ordering again to soak a 45 yo wedding dress to make a baptism gown for the granddaughter. The wedding dress has been in a garment bag since the wedding. The bride took the dress off, & put it in the bag. Didn’t even take it to the dry cleaners

Renewing heirloom dresses
Very pleased with results.. it removed all stains on several garments …some over forty years old. The garments were brightened and look like new.

Ok product.
IT did an ok job on the vintage stains but, I had to then put the baby out in baking soda to remove more of the stains. Was hoping for more stain removal than what I got but it was a start.

Amazing Results!
This is an amazing product. I had an antique and yellowing quilt that I wanted to restore. I let the quilt soak for 24 hours and the results were amazing. I did soak it a second time but this would not have been necessary. The quilt still has an “old” look but it’s no longer gross!
