Appearance, density, surface texture of the plastic is consistent with recycled materials.The table comes in a spectrum of colors from bright red, green, or blue to black and various lighter colors.The table is large enough and sturdy enough for a couple of beverages and a couple of plates of food.I would be reluctant to put more than 10-12 pounds total on the table. I have not seen a 20 - 25 knot wind do more than slide the table a few feet on our deck. Nonetheless, I expect that stiff wind and this table do not mix well.

As a light, small, low game table, works perfectly when you add a Go or Chess or other board game. Perfect height to play with my grandkids. Regular game tables go for $59 plus, so this combination with your favorite board game is awesome, and will keep the kids or grandkids busy for hours. Only warning: not sturdy enough for your 3 year old to jump up and down on!!!Less expensive than some card tables and most TV trays, great size for kids but fine for adults, and much more "stowable" quickly. Also looks nice and is UV double coated so Florida, California, Texas, Georgia, Arizona etc. sun doesn't destroy it in one season if you use it outdoors. Very nice looking inside too, Perfect for plants as well at those board games. Wipes clean with hot water.The largest board game I have (a full size competition bamboo go board) is a 19 x 19 grid and with this being 19/17/15, it works perfectly for even the biggest boards. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you might be very young and part of the video and pc generation, and not get what I'm meaning by a board. ;=)TIPPING TIP: Many reviews say this little bugger won't let you pick it up without a crash and burn. Not true. Here's how it's done: when you use that amazing center fold, then "push" the carry handle to one side to support one of the leaves, the old carry handle is now your new stability and pick up handle. To wit: when you pick the table up with all your goodies on it, hold the non-handle supported leaf BY the leaf, and hold the handle supported leaf by BOTH the leaf on top, AND the carry handle under it TOGETHER (pinch the two together with your finger and thumb as you lift). We move board games with cards, go stones, chess pieces, plants, drinks, flowers etc. and they are never disturbed or dumped.This IS plastic and is light, but quite sturdy with something on it of say 15 to 20 pounds. A strong wind WILL blow it away, especially empty, so not really good outside on the lake/ocean shore or mountain top, unless protected from the wind or propped against something. Everyone who sees the center fold feature is blown away, and friends will comment how much better it is for carrying and storage (being balanced and small) than a tv tray, which is one side heavy and falls, or crunches your fingers. Highly recommended and made in USA! Our 3 year old can set it up, whereas the card table beside it takes a PhD in engineering with a minor in weight lifting.Enjoy!

I was looking for a small table to put in between my two chairs on my patio. This is the perfect size. I do feel I paid about $8 too much by buying this on Amazon because this should be priced for about $14-$15. However, I was unable to find something like this in the stores near me, so Amazon was very convenient and the shipping was free (or included in the price, depending on how you view it).What I really love about this table is:- It's small - like a TV dinner table (although it folds differently)- Since it's made of a resin it is not going to rust and is easy to clean- Setup is simple- Breakdown is simple; just pick up the table to fold away (this is also a big drawback as I describe below)- It's light and easy to carry aroundThe biggest drawback to this table (besides the slightly higher price on Amazon), is that the table cannot be picked up and moved without collapsing (folding up). The table immediately folds if you grasp it by the top. It is sturdy upon setup but I have to be careful not to lift it in any manner while items are on top or everything will topple over. However, I knew this would happen before purchase based on another reviewer's comments so I was somewhat prepared. This table would have been 5 stars if it were manufactured to open and close like a TV table instead of the way it opens now.Despite the above negative, I still love this table but I must remember to keep it in one spot and only move it when nothing is on it. If I had room, I would even consider purchasing few others in different colors.

I purchased this quik-fold side table in Charcoal. The colour is beautiful and it matches nicely with the chairs I have out in my balcony.It is very lightweight and conveniently folds up nice and flat for easy storage. I like it's compact size, making it the perfect size to have out in my balcony.The reason why I docked 1 star is because it is not as sturdy as I have hoped. I live on the 11th floor and the wind is extremely strong up here. It has knocked over twice in the span of 1 week. The 2nd time it knocked over, it broke a mug and crystal ash tray I had out there. I was so upset!!!! Therefore, I do not recommend this table if you live in a very windy area. Definitely will not withstand strong winds or storms.
