I've had other steamers but this one has special features that I love. The 3 legs fold down if you want. It has a tall, large, sturdy, stand-up center ring, easy to access with the included special hook which allows for easy removal from the pot. I used to burn my fingers on my old one! It's so sturdy, the veggies don't fall off it when you remove it from the pot. It also includes a stainless steel pad for cleaning. Great value for the money with all the included items.

I have a Cuisinart steamer insert for a 3Qt. sauce pan, but the holes are so small and so few that it takes forever to steam anything. Also, the holes are only on the bottom on the streamer insert. With this insert basket, which has lots of holes, and which fits nicely into the 3Qt. pan, I can now steam things in less than half the time. Plus, the holes on the sides allow for a more thorough and consistent steaming experience. I will be ordering the larger size as a companion basket so I can steam larger items (whole fish, large ears of corn, etc.) as well.

I had been steaming broccoli and asparagus in my small pot. The broccoli would fall apart and I'd lose some to the bottom of my pot. This basket expands for a perfect fit and keeps all the broccoli there, none lost to the pot bottom. I'm very happy with this adjustable basket, it is working great for my uses. I feel dumb for not getting one of these much sooner! This model has silicone on the feet bottom, so the feet won't scratch up my pot. I like that detail. Plus, the legs hold it up anout 1/2" so I can put plenty of water for steaming. I'm very happy!!

This steamer did the job, I bought this for my 8 quart Ninja Foodi. Overall build quality seems decent and this is the model that seemed to have the silicone leg stands along with an easy screw in/screw off hook (no screwdriver required unlike other models.) The only issue I had was that my first shipment was missing the screw in thread to screw in the hook. I spoke with customer service and they promptly sent me another one. I waited about a week and when it arrived, that one was missing the screw in thread as well! I contacted them again and they apologized and promptly sent me a third steamer basket. Another week later, and third times the charm as the third one finally had the screw in thread so that I can screw in the hook. Overall, 4 stars: 2 stars for quality assurance who missed the defective units on the first two shipments, 5 stars for excellent customer service and 5 stars for the steamer basket itself. Would recommend, but hope you don't have the same problems I did with the hook not being able to screw in!

I mainly bought this because the legs are covered with silicon and I have a non-stick pot that can’t be handled with metal utensils. The steamer does a great job so far without scratching my pot! I would admit it’s kind of hard to clean all the metal pieces because the pieces overlap one another even when it’s open. But I’ve been avoiding having to deep clean it by putting my food on a plate on top of the steamer so that no grease or food will come into direct contact and get stuck in it.

Use two steamers for dinner every day. This is the first one to hold up more than six months. With others the center stem breaks where it attaches to the base or the “leaves” fall apart or the legs break off. This one is better made and since it the first one that lasted a year, I purchased a second one to replace the inferior ones. The hook to pull the steamer out of the pot and the scrubbing pad are nice additions as well. But the main selling point is that this brand is well made and has lasted daily use.

I bought this specifically to steam eggs as it makes them easier to peal. It works great for that and I love that it folds up to be used in various sized pots and when you want to store it, it folds up and looks like a tiny space ship. Hopefully, if I ever need to coax any kids to eat boiled eggs, I can convince them they are from outer space.

A nice well made steamer BUT there’s a major design flaw. The center lifting loop is too tall to allow the lid of a standard sauce pan to seal tightly on the pan. It hold up the lid.by about an inch on my pans. Having the lid closed snugly is pretty important to steam anything. I also like the retractable feet, but the lifting loop needs to be significantly shorter. Be aware.

Amazing product. Folds magically to fit on the palm of your hand and opens wide enough to put a variety of stuff to steam. Product doesnt look cheap, n the contrary it lools very neat. Easy to clean too. Would recommand 100%.

Frankly, I chose this because of price, but the quality is great. And they even included a steel scrubby to keep it clean. Exactly as described by the seller. It was delivered quickly. I would buy from this seller again.

It's a great product, and works exactly as intended. The rubber on the bottom is great for not scratching pots! Just like all steamers, the holes make it hard to clean but I think that's more a non-having-the-proper-tool problem than a steamer problem! Bought another one for my mom as well, really great product!

I love that I can attach a hook as extension to lift my steamed hot food safely out of the pot. Also was great to clean and has collapsable feet. Gets five stars from me.

Great little steamer basket. Exactly what I was looking for. I plan on buying another soon.
