4ft Small Double 120cm Wooden Futon Set with NAVY BLUE Mattress

Absolutely love this, I needed a nice comfortable and big bed but thought I’m unable to have my dream bed as I thought it would overtake my home which is a 1 bedroom apartment. Well this has done totally the opposite it has in fact made my home feel so cosy and this futon is so comfortable, I have the best sleep ever. I used to have a pull out a sofa bed and it used to take over and it was so soft and uncomfortable I had to get rid. I have bought this and it really does work well with the alignment of my body and spine. It is firm but a really good firm. I also use a mattress topper and like it’s gorgeous I never want to get off. If you’re thinking about getting this please do as it does wonders. It was so easy to put together and probably took me all of 30 minutes. The instructions were very straightforward and easy to understand. The wood is perfect and all the slats were smooth. I can honestly say I couldn’t find anything wrong with this purchase I LOVE ❤️ IT.

Comfy-living were amazing when I needed a last minute guest bed. They communicated quickly and delivered the futon at short notice a few days before Christmas 2015. Other retailers delivery times were 6-8 weeks away. The frame is simple to assemble and very sturdy, but ends are roughly cut, so need sanding so no one gets a splinter. However, comfort was key and the mattress was comfortable and a decent size compared to most sofa beds where you can't even turn over in your sleep they're so narrow. One small misgivings is I'm not too keen on the nylon-like material covering the futon, however the main irk, and what you can't see properly in the photo's, is what looks likes 'buttons' across the mattress (like in a sofa), are actually straight white plastic tags similar to plastic tags you find on clothing labels but sturdier. With a round piece of nylon behind each tag, looks like protective packaging not something you'd leave on, so I removed the nylon circles. So the photo's could do with a close up of this feature. Overall, I was so impressed by the company and for the price the sofa bed is great value for money, and handy for short term guests.

I just want to start by saying that I'm almost 17 stone and have been sleeping on this every night for nearly 3 weeks. It arrives mostly-assembled (just a few bolts to put in before you can use it!), and assembly takes just a few minutes. Mine arrived in good condition, in 2 separate packages, which were light enough for me to carry up the hill to my front door. It's used as a sofa during the day for my daughter & me, then it's my bed at night. As I say, I'm heavy and I use it nightly - I also like a firm mattress, FYI - I find it comfy enough. If you sleep at the slightly raised end, it's also perfectly sturdy enough to support a good loading. It's probably not for you if you'd need to sleep on it regularly and like a soft mattress, but as a once-in-while bed (or for someone like me) it's perfect. Also if you have a hard wood floor, you'd need a rug or mat to put under it. Mine is scratching the wood.

Cheap and does the job but the frame isn't the highest quality and the mattress itself is quite thin especially after a day of use so basically requires either a replacement or a thick topper. For the price it is good but I would recommend spending a bit more

Two adults fit comfortably on here. Pleasantly surprised with the quality, aesthetic and comfort. We keep this in our study / guest room. Great for a reading nook. Pop a throw and some cushions on top, the piece looks great and on trend. It was a winner with our guests that prefer a firm mattress but for those, like ourselves, that prefer a medium firmness we found it comfortable for a night with a topper. Great purchase and means we have more office space rather than paying similarly or more for a basic frame and mattress. Clever folding space saving design, and smart elevation at the head of the bed, so minimal pillows needed. Highly recommend!

Chair/bed is sturdy and comfy and made from quality materials. It was easy to assemble took couple of minutes to put together. It looks lovely and the navy colour I ordered is a lovely deep shade. The thickness I feel is plenty and feels comfortable to sit on and to sleep for occasional use which is what I purchased it for and the size I ordered was the 3ft, it's plenty big enough. It folds and unfolds with ease. Overall I think it's was a great purchase. I'm most pleased.

Purchased this futon as a temporary bed in our spare room come office. Delivery was within two days and Comfy Living were very prompt when contacting them. Assembly was very easy with just 4 bolts and nuts to but together (takes about 5 minutes) As a seat this is reasonably comfortable and you could just about get away with an hour or so before it becomes uncomfortable, as a bed it is very comfortable and could be used on a day to day basis. The original item that was delivered was assembled and used once when one of the wooden slats broke, it was due to a large knot in the middle of it. Comfy Living responded on the same day of me requesting a replacement and the new one was delivered to us in two days, you can't ask for better service. My only issue (and it is a minor one) with the futon, is the need to unscrew the feet every time you convert the seat to a bed, an IKEA futon I had for about 7 years was almost identical to this one but the feet could just be folded up when the front of the seat was moved. Rounding off the top of the feet would easily solve this. I can heartily recommend this product as a temporary bed for an office or second bedroom and combined with a stellar service from Comfy Living any problems are quickly dealt with.

The lady at Comfy Living called me when my shipment was delayed for a day (although it wasn’t actually delayed this was before Amazon said it should arrive) then called on the day it was due to be delivered to keep me updated. Product assembled so easily, no screwdrivers/tools required. It’s just 4 x screws/bolts and wing nuts. Seems really comfy so far, been sitting on it as a sofa and have laid on it to test and it seems comfy. Looks great and looks much more high quality than I anticipated.
