Great substitute for critters that won't eat oxbox critical care
I had a very weak and under weight guinea pig that refused to eat the oxbow critter critical care when I had to syringe feed him for under weight due to teeth problems. So I did some research and found this food and he absolutely loved it. I mixed it with a little water and some non sweet apple sauce or vegetable baby food, and he ate it. It's a great change from oxbow since it's so grainy and hard to get your pet to eat. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Less grainy and easier to add to syringe Nutrition: Great substitute to oxbow Effectiveness: My guinea pig ate it Smell: It smelled of peppermint Value for money: I wished you get more the price

Good taste, good results
Amazing My old guinea pig loves it and always come running to me to get more Even my young guinea pig want it when he sees me feeding my old pig lol Usually I used to struggle with other brands bc my pigs don’t like them.. but with this one my pigs have all the benefits and also flavor, and bc they eat it so well, it actually works really well to support their digestion when they are sick. 100% recommended

Guinea pig approved
I just recently had to feed this to my guinea pig as critical care when she was bloated. It truly worked wonders and got her out of a GI stasis. It’s supposed to be 1 part emeraid to 2 parts water, but I mix extra water in as it’s easier to syringe feed a small mammal that way. Would recommend!

Must have for guinea pig care kit
Mixes well to get into syringe or thick for spoon feeding. My guinea pigs prefer this over other Critical Care product. Does the job and helped my piggies recover.

Good supplement for sick bunnies.
I used this as a supplement when my bunny was ill and could not eat hay. Easy to prepare, she liked it. She had gotten very lethargic because she could not eat hay and once she had this available she bounced right back. Unlike Critical Care, this is a more complete nutritional supplement.

Helped us through a rough patch
I have an elderly guinea pig who we thought we would have to put down nearly 10 months ago due to gut issues. He recovered after a clinic stay and did okay but didn’t thrive. He continued to be seen by the vet, and about 4 months later they gave us a package of this critical care food with instructions that it could be watered down and syringe fed. We adapted this to make a moist paste, shredded in a little apple and put it in a dish. He gobbled it up. He has now become a fully recovered, happy piggy but still expects and calls out for his critical care food every afternoon. He doesn’t really need it anymore - he has returned to normal eating habits - but since he still asks for it, we give him a small amount daily as a fail safe way to keep his nutrition steady.

My guinea pig loves it
My guinea pig is not fond of his hay which occasionally causes gut issues and this works as an occasional fiber source. He loves it so much I try not to give it to him unless he absolutely needs it because he would turn down his other food for this.
