Long lasting battery and good suction
I've been using my new vacuum and mop robot for a few weeks now. Overall the vacuum cleans the floor nicely and quietly.Battery life: I've mostly used it in the vacuum mode and the battery lasts almost 2 hours, which is very good. I cannot vouch for the battery life in the mopping mode.Vacuuming quality: corners, baseboards and floors overall are vacuumed well of dust, hair and dirt. The robot has random moving patterns, but if I let it work the 2 hours it vacuums well my 600 sq ft floor. Usually when I'm about to leave the house I get the area ready by removing all light rugs and lifting cables and pet toys and then on the way out I turn the robot on so that it cleans the floor while I'm gone. I have not used the remote yet, I just use the buttons on the robot itself. This vacuum is white and does not mark the white baseboards when it hits them. Super.Mopping quality: As the photos show, the moving patterns of the robot are very random and I would rather it went on parallel lines. The mopping is probably not this robot's forte (and maybe it's not any robot's forte). The small mop gets dirty soon and you need to remove it, clean it and replace it. If you want a light clean, then I guess it's fine.Stairs: the robot stops on the edge and turns around. It does not fall down.Noise level: It's quieter than my previous robot from Roomba and this is a very important characteristic for me as there's always guests in my home and I need to be considerate of noise levels.Cleaning the robot: To empty the dust drawer you need to remove the filter and dump the dirt. To empty the water drawer is quite easy.Impressive: I was impressed to open the box the robot came in and find replacement parts for the bristles and also for the filter. That's gonna be really helpful.CONS:The instruction manual recommends never leaving the full water drawer in the robot if not using the robot as it would spill water on the floor. That's a little complicated, because sometimes the mopping robot will get stuck on a rug or object on the floor and not move. I guess there's the chance the water would get spilled and make a mess. I think this could be an aspect of this robot that needs fixing.Another aspect I would expect the robot to improve is the moving patterns that can be less random.Overall I'm very happy with the purchase.

Reliable, hard working, straightforward = great value
I love iLife robot vacuums, for the $ they are the most reliable / least expensive to operate. Bought this one only because the V3 is no longer offered. Great for homes with mix of hard and soft surfaces - climbs over carpets / area rugs if they are stiff (vs bathroom / soft-backed throw rugs). Often attempts to dive under furniture and get caught, so I had to place rolled up towels/old rugs under some items. No stairs so can't speak to how it's 'cliff sensor' might work. Original machine lasted 4 years, daily use. 1st replacement didn't work - the computers on these sometimes don't, so I exchanged it. This one has been used daily for 6 months, no issues. Suggest if you are replacing one, keep the old - many of the parts are interchangeable, and the only part I had to replace on my first one was one of the wheel assemblies = $25 because it stripped the gears trying to dive under furniture or climb over a 3/4" tile ledge.

Needs a battery already!!
I purchased this cleaning robot on January 25, 2025 and already the battery has died (July 28, 2025). That is what I don't like about it. Other than that , I was pleased. I use it twice a week to keep up with dust. I do find the machine has a personality of it's own. Sometimes it weirds out. like it will move around the room quickly in a big circle... and then after about 20 seconds will start cleaning again. Sometimes it will go back to the recharge station and then when I go to use a couple days later it hasn't recharged itself. I just ordered a replacement battery because I can't be without one due to medical issues. If it's difficult to install, I'll update this review. Would I recommend it? Yes as long as you realize it needs regular upkeep.
