This kit works extremely well. Using food coloring and a small syringe I’d spent hours and days trying to find where my pool was losing water. The food coloring would quickly dissipate and vanish against the dark blue patterned liner. Looking for a better option I found this. The neon yellow in this kit stays highly visible much longer. The two included syringes hold plenty of dye, eliminating the need for constant refills. The long blunt needles/applicators allow you to very precisely distribute and observe the dye. I was able to locate and confirm several tiny pinholes in the liner. I never would’ve found these with the 5ml plastic blunt-tip syringe I’d been using. The bottle cap’s design makes filling the syringe simple and mess-free. It anlso allows you to push the unused dye back into the container. I wish I would’ve known about this product from the beginning. It’s something, in my opinion, any pool owner should keep on hand.

Great product, found the leak in my aboveground pool in minutes

This is an awesome product. I had , key word had a leak in my pool. This product was just what I needed to find the leak that was causing me so much grief.

Used to identify leak in my Koi pond (~3000 gal). Tiny drops. Fish are fine. Not as easy to identify locations as I hoped, but still very helpful.

Worked instantly. I was able to find the leak from my hot tub going back into my pool from a faulty check valve. I barely used any and will have alot more if I ever need it.

Arrived in plastic bag with leaking bottle, making it messy to start with. Syringe is a little hard to control. When you really need a tiny ribbon you can get a cloud that covers too much area. Other than that, it does work. Really should be half the price.

The blue dye was very visible even in the darkness of the pool light niche. The long straight needle and long bent needle were very good for emitting the dye into confined parts of the pool. The amount of dye supplied was more than sufficient as just a full needle of dye lasted for checking many areas.
