Base is made of thick cardboard what a joke and you're supposed to put screws in this junk.

Be prepared to do what Attwood quality control can't seem to get right.
This was given as a Christmas Gift. Before wrapping the package I inspected the seat only to find the finish work on the bottom needed about 20 more staples to properly attach the fabric to the base. This had been commented on in some previous reviews so I knew what to look for. Come on Attwood! Don't you listen to what your buyers are telling you? Don't you care? Is 20 extra staples going to be so much more costly to you? If you got this right you would get 5 stars because the rest of the seat is high quality and worthy of giving as a gift.
