These shoes are true to their description of being wide in the toe. I wear an EE width and the shoe felt very comfortable. So much so that I forgot I was wearing them. As far as running in them, there is not much support and cushion for that. It's a good looking shoe, light and comfortable. The Velcro fastener ensures a good fit. Next best thing to being barefoot.

I'm 54 years old and just had a total knee replacement due to RA. I have always been fashion over comfort or safety, so this style of shoe is out of my norm. But, let me just say while they are not the hottest or trendiest footwear, per say , they do the job perfectly! Easy on and off, adjustable for my swollen foot, and so comfy! Good sole grip and exactly what I need when for when I leave the house for PT. I wear size 8 1/2 to 9 depending on shoe style and I bought the 8 1/2. Fits perfectly with no socks.

I find even sneakers painful to wear anymore because of arthritis so was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable, nice-looking, and easy to put on, and not tippy these shoes were, so much so that I'm going to order another pair in a different color!

I wear a size 9 .Ordered 8. Should have ordered a 7. Comfy, nicely made, pretty plum color but.really big. Do not order your size.

I ordered both the "slippers" and the "shoes" version. They're basically the same I think except the "shoes" have shoe insole type material on the inside, while the slippers have the soft fuzzy material inside. Ordered them for my mom who is diabetic, hard of movement, and has permanent swelling to one foot due to a stroke from a few years ago. I decided to keep both the slippers and the shoes in case one of them wore out. My mother rarely leaves the house, so either pair will do. Surprisingly, my mother gravitates towards the shoes rather than the slippers. My concern is that the floor isn't that clean, and the dirtiness from feet would darken the insides of the slippers. Hasn't happened yet, but she chooses the shoes over the slippers. I give them a 5 because they're comfortable, velcro is nice because she never has to tie them. And the adjustible velcro eliminates the need to buy 2 separate pairs of shoes since one of her feet is bigger than the other due to the swelling. She's worn them in now to the point where she uses them as slip-ons. We also have a pair of the Skechers Go-Walk slip ons in two sizes. Those are nicer looking shoes, but they fit a little tight on one foot, and with no laces or velcro you can't adjust, you just need to wear them in.

I call these Troll shoes because they are so ugly they're cute! These shoes are typically very comfortable. I am only giving this style/pair 3 stars because even though they are better looking than my other pairs, and even though the tag on the inside says size 39, similar to my others, they are almost an inch shorter. My toes hit the very end. They were still just ok, but I found after wearing them for a bit, my foot cramped very badly. I am going to try them again, one size up and cross my fingers that they are not too big.

I was needing some casual shoes for gardening, etc. I have an extremely wide foot and a high arch and instep. My foot measures 7.5-8 in length, but I usually have to size up to a 9 to accommodate the extra width and volume. I bought these in a size 8, and these fit like a glove and are very comfortable. They are almost too cute to wear in the garden, but this price I can easily order another pair.

Only had the wide option and they are wide. They’re comfortable and good for every day use at home.
