The Hutch Company 4ft Chartwell Rabbit & Guinea Pig Single-Tier Hutch

This is an amazing hutch! I cannot recommend this enough. I am housing my guinea pigs in it at the moment but it’s certainly big enough to house one large or two small rabbits. It was easy to assemble and made out of high quality materials. If I ever need more hutches I’ll definitely buy from this range again. Also the hutch came with some sweets which were a lovely post construction reward :)

It took a disappointing first purchase to lead me to this absolute gem of a rabbit hutch! Sturdy, well-built, and thoughtfully designed—this hutch checks every box. The quality is clear the moment you see it, and it feels like it will easily stand up to the elements for years to come. It’s absolutely worth the price. Both my rabbit and I couldn’t be happier! This is a fab little rabbit hutch. It’s sturdy and really well made. It’s tall enough that my rabbits can stand up on their back legs inside it. There’s enough space for the litter tray and some toys. It’s quite dark inside though once the top is on. Mine are indoor rabbits so I can’t comment on weatherproof. However the instructions are terrible. They may as well have not provided them. There are no pre-drilled holes in any of the sections so you will need a drill. And it’s definitely a 2 person job. It took about an hour to put together. Other than the assembly it’s great and I can’t fault it.

I am so pleased with this rabbit hutch and so is my bunny. I did a lot of research before deciding on this one and honestly wish I'd bought it sooner. Worth every penny! A lovely spacious and versatile hutch. I have one Netherland Dwarf but it is suitable for more. My old hutch was a double but the lower compartment had no floor, and a tiny metal door which made cleaning the hutch an impossible task. This hutch is solid with very thick sides and back. Both floor compartments painted with green, easy clean material. All doors open wide for easy access. You can shut off top floor if required as there is a hatch door which can be clipped up out of the way. Super quick delivery. All pieces clearly marked for assembly. I highly recommend. Nice and big and spacious but let down by the base of the hutch wood not being very good quality also you can clip the doors open but can not clip then shut the rabbits can nudge and open them

This is my second Identical Chartwell hutch in 3 years. The hutch is well made and sturdy with clear instructions. The plywood floors, back and roof on my previous one started delaminating and falling apart after just over 2 years. Therefore I have painted the whole of this hutch before assembly with Sikkens Cetol 7 quality wood varnish to protect it from water ingress. Will be leaving it a couple of weeks for the paint odour to go before using it for our rabbit.

After a small hiccup with the order, I received my hutch from the Hutch Company and must say I am extremely pleased with it. It was very easy to assemble for just one person and has ample space for my two little guinea pigs although I have had to make a small barrier around the ramp opening until they are used to the hole being there. It is really easy to clean and looks very smart and well finished. I also got the hutch hugger waterproof protector and have used it a number of times when there has been a downpour and think it will be a must when the weather gets colder as I will be leaving the hutch outdoors. It is well made and a very good fit. I can highly recommend both hutch and hugger.

Lieferung erfolgte schnell. Allerdings wurde die Verpackung von DHL nochmals nachverpackt, da der Karton doch sehr dünn war. Aufbau schnell und problemlos. Die Türen sind gut gemacht. Hochwertige Riegel und Scharniere. Die Seitenwände sind auch gut und stabil. In der Artikelbeschreibung stand: Holz 14mm. Die Bodenplatten und Rückwände sind aber aus etwa 3mm dünnem Sperrholz. Ich habe diese selbst mit MDF-Platten noch verstärkt. Sonst wäre der Stall doch sehr instabil und auf keinen Fall für den Garten geeignet. Wären die Bodenplatten und Rückwände ebenfalls aus 14mm Holz gewesen, hätte ich 4 oder 5 Sterne vergeben. Deswegen kann ich den Stall nur für Käufer empfehlen, die den Stall selbst noch verbessern können und noch arbeiten investieren.

Cage en tous points conforme à la description. Elle est facile et rapide à monter. Les finitions sont impeccables surtout pour le prix !! J'ai enlevé une étoile car le sol de l'étage supérieur ne s'enlève pas pour nettoyer à fond bien que les portes le permettent quand même. Et un souci plus embêtant, le revêtement n'est pas si étanche que cela. Mes lapins sont habitués à la litière donc pas de problème, mais si les vôtres font partout dans leur cage, ça pourra être problématique sur de long terme.

Le mie conigliette la adorano! Passano molto più tempo dentro che fuori 😊 Si monta in 20 minuti e senza serie difficoltà, consiglio avvitatore elettrico.

Bon produit, facile à monter, mais grosse déception sur la partie plancher des lapins qui n'est pas étanche et qui parait sur la photo être étanchéisée alors que c'est seulement du bois peint
