Quickly and permanently repair concrete inside or outside with this tough, but easy-to-use epoxy repair mortar. Fixes Cracked and eroded concrete on drives, floors, patios, steps, ramps, troughs and more. It is formulated from epoxy resin and accelerated cements and fillers which makes it extremely tough and quick setting. When we say "tough" we mean it, as this repair mortar is actually stronger than the concrete it repairs! A nice touch is that our Ultra-Tough Repair Mortar is non slip, so you can use it on paths or steps with confidence. If you are using it on your drive you will be reassured to know it will easily take the weight of a car, even a big SUV. You don't need to be a professional to use it either: Make sure the area to be treated is clean, dry and free from oil and grease. Mix the hardener and mixture together until the mortar is smooth and grey (you can do this with a trowel, but a gloved hand is best). Keep compressing the mixture with the trowel as you work it into the area being repaired, as the more you compress the product the wetter the surface becomes, which makes it easier to work with. Depending on temperature, and a used, the average working life of the product is 30-60 minutes. Expect to cover 0.6m² for 5kg pack at 5mm thick. Sets in only 3-6 hours at 15 - 20°C, can be driven over after 12 hours. Here's a good tip: wipe your trowel with a white spirit-soaked cloth. This will make it easier to smooth the mortar. What a quick way to repair concrete!
