LEGO Technic Supercar

The Lego Technic car was a birthday gift for my 9 year old son and he loved it. He spent about 4 days a couple of hours each to built it and in doing so learned a lot about the mechanics that drive a car. The quality of the finished product is excellent as he can use it for playing without it falling to pieces like the regular Lego. The car comes with a small electric engine that powers opening and closing of the doors, back door and bonnet.

this is an excellent product, which, as with all lego products, comes with a superb set of step by step instructions. my 9 yr old lad put it together by himself but he is an experienced lego builder. I would expect most 9-10 yr olds with lego in their blood would be able to assemble this, although attention to detail is the key.

My wife and I bought this for our son's 31st Birthday as he likes super cars. it has 1000 or more pieces and it will take possibly over a periods of weeks or months to assemble it, depending on your time and efforts. you can also print out on online another model or version with similar pieces, therefore there are two models in one, but you can only do one model at the time. Has an engine as well. It is an amazing grown up game puzzle to keep you occuppied in your spare times.

My son wanted this for his 10th birthday. Had to shop around a bit to get the best price. Quite an expensive bit of kit but great all the same. he spent most of the day building it and although its meant for slightly older kids, he had no problems working out what went where. Cool engine that has moving pistons and a couple of motorized parts such as doors and boot. The only problem (as we had with the jet fighter) is that he does'nt want to break it down to build the alternate car. Another slight gripe is that you need to download the alternate instructions from the net. At this price (and it was'nt cheap) i would have expected them to include the alternate instructions. He loves it though and plays with it a lot. He wants me to buy him another so he can build the other retro looking car - i wonder how many other kids are saying the same to their parents - nice marketing there Mr. Lego!!!! All in all i'd say its a great educational as well as fun building toy. He now wants the bigger ones that Lego has just brought out - maybe i'll win the lottery this week!

One of the best toy ever bought for our son who is now 10. He needed some help with this project but he teamed up with his dad and they both had 2 days of fun building the car together. Now the car is built, he plays with it often and is proud to show it to friends and family.

It looks like it will move. The transmission is all there- but it doesn't move! I'm not a mechanic but even I can see that it would take ONE slight alteration to ONE cog and it WOULD move. But, not sure if I mentioned this, it doesn't move. What were they thinking? Looks great BUT IT DOESN'T MOVE. Needs big sign on box 'To avoid disappointing 9 year old son you should be aware that, although this could easily move, we have decided to make it NOT move'. AAAAARGH!

Bought this for my son who is 11 and he loved it. It is difficult and he needed a little help to get started but it took him 2 whole days to complete over Christmas. Very impressive once built. Hard to find another one that will challenge him as much as this did.

Had to return twice

cosa si può dire dei lego? ricordo con nostalgia quando li regalavano a me, ho passato le giornate a giocare coi mattoncini prima e col technic poi, a 30 anni di distanza posso dire che con buona probabilità questo gioco ha contribuioto allo sviluppo della mia manualità e della mia creatività, penso che nell'era di console e videogame questo sia uno dei giochi più sani che rimangano in circolazione, ogni bambino dovrebbe ricevere in regalo questi giochi anche se ammetto che non sono a buon mercato e non lo sono mai stati. venendo alla supercar, è bella ed ha alcune funzioni motorizzate. per bimbi svegli o un po' più grandicelli.

Ein riesen Spaß .... ...und das beileibe nicht nur für die anvisierte Altersgruppe. Auch (und gerade) Erwachsene werden ihren Spaß mit diesem Renner haben. Eine absolut verständliche und logische Aufbauanleitung, 100 % Vollständigkeit aller Einzelteile - da sollte man das Ikea Managment zwangsweise in die Lehre schicken ;-) Im Ernst, es macht Spaß, weil alles erstklassig erklärt wird, erstklassig verarbeitet ist und mit etwas Geduld (und gutem Licht) auch von absoluten Anfängern wie mir (von ein paar wenigen Rewell Modellen in der Jugend abgesehen, habe ich keinerlei Modellbauerfahrung und bin auch nicht besonders geduldig..) zu schaffen. Und wenn man dann nach Stunden des Zusammenbaus feststellt, das alles paßt und sogar funktioniert, dann ist es einfach ein Erfolgserlebnis mit Spaßfaktor. Ich würde mir jederzeit wieder so ein ähnliches Lego Modell kaufen und überlege ernsthaft irgendwann dieses Jahr noch den großen Unimog zu kaufen bzw. ihn mir (zum Geburtstag oder Weihnachten) schenken zu lassen. Von mir gibt es auf jeden Fall eine 100 % Kaufempfehlung - und das trotz deutlichem Überschreiten der "Altersempfehlung" - ich bin knapp über 50 ! *grins*.............

Ces dernières années, j'avais laissé tomber la collection Technic, car j'en avais un peu marre des camions. Et voila que sort cette fantastique voiture de course, merveilleusement conçue et pleine de punch, un vrai régal de conception et de motorisation. Le montage commence par les multiples engrenages qui vont actionner toutes les parties mobiles. Attention d'éviter les erreurs, car la construction est réellement délicate, et j'ai dû démonter plusieurs parties où je n'avais pas bien lu le plan. On enchaîne sur l'aménagement intérieur ( sièges, moteur et pistons, suspensions des 4 roues ), puis la carrosserie formée de pièces pleines et de " trous ". Au final, le moteur permet, par l'intermédiaire d'un levier situé à la place de la boîte de vitesse, d'ouvrir et de fermer le capot, les deux portes séparément, et de sortir l'aileron arrière. Quelques autocollants ( pas indispensables ) viennent décorer les parties pleines. Les roues avant sont bien sûr directionnelles. A noter la présence de nombreuses nouvelles pièces. Cette voiture restera à coup sûr dans les annales !

La gestión del pedido ha sido rapidísima, incluso ha llegado un par de días antes de lo esperado. En lo que respecta al producto en sí, a pesar de faltar una de las piezas (si os ocurre esto hay que solicitarlas directamente a LEGO), me lo he pasado en grande montando este maravilloso Technics. Si tuviese que ponerle una pega, sería que debido a un mal empaquetado, asumo que por parte del fabricante, las pegatinas venían dobladas, y una vez puestas hay alguna que se levanta en alguna esquina...
