I'm still learning , but it seems that this tool needs a little deft hand work to get it right. Nevertheless, it's still much better than crawling around with a scale ruler or using the 3-finger method. It's nice to have a good solid reference point and the readings are repeatable. Simple, small and easy to store. Okay: maybe 4.5 stars...

This product works 100% the quality of it is made out of really sturdy plastic really durable and my motorcycle chain is a 520 I know there's bigger ones but it fits perfectly without a problem and to use it is very very easy like common Sense easy and it made me be able to fix my chain in under 10 minutes. I personally believe it should be about five to seven dollars less but for the money I would buy this if you don't already have it and if you're having trouble keeping your chain aligned and inspects this is perfect for that

This is the best chain tensioner gauge I’ve had. It’s cheap, it’s built well and it works perfectly. I’ve had it for awhile now and she’s still working great!

This product is definitely on the low side of the price scale which proves that you get what you pay for. It is difficult to use and leaves plenty of room for mistakes. Even when you use it properly,the results are not reliable and can vary by too high of a margin. If you require accuracy spend a little more and get a quality tool..
