Takes a little bit to warm up on initial startup, but it's perfect for a 10g terrarium. Bought two because of this. Temperature stays consistent if room temp stays consistent.

Small, don’t really do much for heat. Had it on all day and my take is still cold. Might work for a really small tank.

Its small compact if thats what you're looking for. Doesn't blow out a lot of heat but it does bring off heat to help me maintain my heat area for my ball python .

This is a beautifully designed low profile heating panel for your reptile. It works and comes with everything as described, and was very satisfied with the products capability. However, after purchasing in setting up and using for about four days, I would not recommend you use this heat panel to try to heat a terrarium with a snake as it is too big and not powerful enough to reach the appropriate temperatures, but will probably be the right temperature for most other exotic reptiles like lizards and geckos

This heat panel was the perfect size! I needed to heat up a basking corner for my ball python in the far corner of his enclosure. It’s keeping his climbing log a nice 85 F and is literally silent. I’m going to eventually hang it inside once I figure that out haha

I didnt listen to the other reviews and I regret it. The chemical smell wasnt too bad at first but really started to get stronger after 5 minutes of it running. It did not get warm enough to do anything and it feels like a plastic toy you'd get from 5 below. Theres small 1mm holes on the underside of the panel for heat, which isn't working anyway. The fan is loud and sounds terrible. Please dont buy this, use a ceramic or spend extra on a good quality one like im about to do.

the unit is cheaply made - light, and generally 'cheap' feeling. That said, I wouldn't use it for a reptile anyway. When the unit is heating, it puts off a tremendous amount of 'hot plastic' smells, which I wouldn't expose a pet in an enclosed environment to. The heat it puts off is passable for a very small enclosure, and the amount of air is pushes is basically none. I wasn't even sure it had a fan in it. I purchased it to use as a secondary heating element for the 'cool' side of my tank, instead it's going in the trash. I unfortunately discovered how bad this is after the return window.
