Possibly dumb question, but what’s the difference between the A5 and A6 wrenches?

A5 model has square drive output for using standard sockets. A6 has a hex output for using bits. I made the mistake of ordering the A6 and having to return it and ordered the A5 instead. Guess I didn’t read the title properly. You could probably use the A6 if you have an adapter to go from bits to square section if such a thing exists but wasn’t in my socket set. I guess Wera provided the A6 model, as for it being the 1/4 drive version and smaller torque values, it might be used for torquing screws (flat blade, philips, pz, hex, etc).

Does this come with a Calibration certificate

Is this good for maintaining carbon bike frames? Needs to be accurate.

Yes. I use it to limit the torque applied when I connect wires to soft battery terminals. Too high a torque would strip the terminal thread.

does this tool come calibrated

There was no calibration certificate. Experience tells me that I can trust the Wera brand name.

Excellent small 1/4" Torque Wrench

I use it all the time when servicing my Bikes and can't work out why I didn't buy one earlier . . . because I messed about with 3/8" or older types ! Set it at Torque and forget it . . . Just remember to do all that size or pre tighten any bigger bolts then re-set for the larger items !
