What can I say. If you cook soups, sauces, and meats, there is no other choice for leftovers. They are the perfect size, and well constructed with robust quality. Buy some and then buy some more, as I did.

This is exactly the size I use in baking. I store my dough in it overnight to me. It’s about the biggest one that you can get. They used to sell it in the Dollar General stores, but they I can’t find them anywhere so I had to order it online. Also good for storing food after a party. Or watermelon now that it is coming into our melon season . have a great summer!

They are good size containers how ever if you put red tomato sauce in them they will start to stain over time. but over all they work for me.

Endless Uses for Very Little Money
I've used these for years and have always been happy. They're very durable and their performance (lids staying secure, etc.) has never varied. I continue to buy them because friends and relatives never return them. Given that they're SO inexpensive (especially if you amortize that price over time and with respect to function), I really don't mind. Their uses are almost limitless; obviously, they're good for storing casseroles, etc., but they're also good for storing ingredients like flour so that insects don't get in it, or a package of cookies, crackers, etc. that you want to keep fresh. But wait, there's more! Glad makes these in dozens of sizes and shapes, so they're really an inexpensive storage solution for anything you wish to protect from dust, mold, bugs, etc. and the little cup versions are good for spice prep (make your own taco seasoning, chili seasoning, etc.) and they will stay fresh until you need them. You can store screws, beads, etc., because the lids close very tightly and stay that way. Over the years, Glad has actually improved these, removing harmful chemicals.
