These capsules are easy to swallow. The ingredients are good. I've been using them since before my cataract surgery. I do believe they are good for my eye health. My husband and son also use this product.

Good eye supplement for a decent price

Took one capsule a day for months until I finished the bottle. Now I can leave a review. Ultimately, I can’t say I noticed anything at all. Nothing worse, nothing better. My eyes are just as they’ve always been. Maybe this product is great for maintenance. I’m 50 now so thought it was best to start taking supplements as preventatives like Lutein for eye health. After doing some research I’ve seen conflicting information such as 20 mg of Lutein being too high or not necessary. And that the average is up to 10 mg a day. But I didn’t have any side effects with this so I guess it was fine. This also has Astaxanthin, which for me tends to make me a bit tired and suppresses my libido, but the amount is on the lower end so this didn’t affect me too much. Overall the product seemed fine to me.

This was a “what the heck, give it a try” purchase. I am delighted to tell you that after 1 month, my results are unexpectedly good. I am 71yrs old and am in the early stages of cataracts. It has progressed to the point where I was experiencing blurry, rainbow halo vision throughout the day. Every morning I woke up to severely blurred vision, even with my glasses, and was unable to read for about an hour or so until my vision cleared a bit. I was struggling with reading and crafting. I am a hobbyist beaded jewelry maker and was really upset at difficult it was becoming to work with needle and seed beads. I was also struggle to do embroidery and cross stitch, which I also love. I was so frustrated and depressed. After 30 days of taking 2 caps per day, the rainbow halos are gone. Not just improved - totally gone! My vision is still diminished by developing cataracts but the improvement is pretty darn great. I know I will need cataract surgery down the road, but for now I can read as soon ad I wake up and I no longer have any halo vision. I am astonished and so grateful. We take supplements because we believe they are helpful. Some perhaps more than others. As one gets older there are no doubt deficiencies and for that reason I take some. Some experts say that many are just a waste of money. Puritans Pride Lutein 20 Mg With Zeaxanthin Softgels, 120 Count. Respected Brand and good price. I take one in the AM and PM with meals. I am over 70.
