This set is great for working with a group of 6 children. The pack comes with a plastic case each, and 4 reversible plastic sheets with different representations or numbers and some blank sheets. It is a great resource for exploring mathematical concepts that involve counting or fractions and they work using the Interlocking Plastic Cuisenaire Rods, which to me look very similar to base 10 blocks. Children are to place a sheet in the plastic case and use the rods to represent numbers. They can write on the cases using whiteboard or chalk pens which will wipe off, which would be great for the blank sheets for children to write their working out or practise writing their numbers up to 100.

I wasn't really sure what these little trays and mats were for but our primary school's teachers are absolutely thrilled with them. They seem to be good quality and the fact they stack away is a bonus for keeping them neatly in the classroom.

CONFUSED…… Certainly not what I was expecting….. Says ages 5+… Cards fall out very easy…. No rods???? Even don’t understand instructions….

This is a great educational resource for teaching maths. Ideal for home educators and classrooms, it’s a bit of a dry resource for people with kids. Great build quality, this will withstand quite a few uses. I would recommend.
