Works so well; wish I could give it more than five stars
I was very skeptical of this product, but decided to go for it because I had reached a breaking point with the callouses on my feet. I have used a number of lotions over the years on my feet, and unless I applied lotion twice a day and wore socks all day, I really did not see significant results. So in the summers, I find that my feet are worse because I wear sandals and no lotion. I bought this lotion and have had it for about a week. I put it on when I get home at night and wear it with socks until I go to bed. I have noticed a huge, huge difference. My feet are smoother, and the callouses are sloughing off. I use a foot scrubber in the shower ( Flowery Swedish Clover Foot File * #530 ) and the dead skin has been coming off easily. I wore it all day with socks one day and noticed a HUGE difference that night. If I could give this more than five stars, I would. Great, great product. Absolutely worth the money. I imagine the little tub will last about two-three months at the rate I am using it. REVIEW UPDATE: Three weeks later, I still love this product. I use it nightly when I get home and wear it with socks until bedtime, then I use the foot scrubber in the shower the next morning. I am still seeing great results, but a few things to note: 1.) I have to use this pretty consistently. A few days of not using it, and I got a crack in my heel. I think this will be less of a problem in the winter, when I will be wearing footwear that isn't has hard on my feet. (I wear sandals all summer long, which is probably not a great idea for someone with such bad callouses, but I guess I'm unwilling to change.) And 2.) This little tub looks pretty small when you get it, and it's even smaller once you get in there and start using the cream. The bottom of the inside of the tub is raised slightly, which you won't see until you get to the bottom before you expected to. This is a little disappointing due to the cost. But I still plan to reorder; I'm just going to have order a little more frequently than I thought I would.

Great stuff
This jar of strong glycolic cream is the real deal! I have a totally unscientific and brute force way to test potency of glycolic (or vitamin c) products: put a dab on a fresh shaven inner thigh. If it burns, it definitely has potency. This cream burned, OUCH! (I washed it off that area immediately). As for usage, the instructions are on the box, so keep it! (They are so short, they really should be on the jar). You are to leave it on feet or elbows 10-15 minutes, then rinse off. However, I use the instructions on dermatologist Cynthia Bailey's web site: use pumice stone after showering, apply cream, and wear socks for eight hours. Here's a little time and hand saver: wash hands, after applying cream (you must) and pumice stone at the same time. Two washings in one. And the pumice stone is much more easily cleaned sooner than later after use. The result? Noticeable softening of rough skin on feet! Expect an improvement as early as after the first use and even more after 3-5 uses. I am using it every other day for a week, then a week off, then back to every other day, etc. Not exactly, but something like that. I usually am skeptical about products such as this from somewhere other than a dermatologists' office or authorized brand dealer, but in this case, I'm pretty sure it's the real thing. Also it has an expiration date (some products don't) and the day was way out, not anytime soon. I hate pedicures! (except the massage part, I would pay for that if I could get it "a la carte.") This cream, and Dr Hauschuka's nail neem oil, are two products that can help keep you away from the cuticle cutting chair--and, at the same time, reduce your risk of toenail fungus that you may get from a pedicure.

Great for mask-acne, but be careful
I originally ordered this for my disgusting Phoenix flip-flop heels. It does a great job! I put it on at night twice a week, then buzz the dead skin off with my electric foot sander. The two combined make my feet look like I get weekly pedicures. I have to confess though, I started using it on my face. I keep getting these NASTY zits that hurt like crazy on my cheeks, jaw line and neck from wearing medical masks. Initially, I was wiping my face with rubbing alcohol and then moisturizing at the end of the day. That worked pretty well, but the zits that survived were SUPER zits. They hurt like hell and left nasty pigmentation marks. So I started applying this on the stubborn, super human zits. If you do this, you have to be so careful because it burns like crazy and you will get a sunburn without proper precautions. After applying, I immediately moisturize like crazy and then slather on moisturizer and mineral sunscreen. Then I wear a baseball cap all day. Every zit is now gone and the hyperpigmentation disappeared within a week. Iโm going to keep doing this as a preventative measure until the mask mandate is gone. So, I would definitely recommend this product!! If you use this off-label like I did, please be careful and wear sunscreen AND A HAT!

Effective!!
This has obliterated my need to scrape or exfoliate with pumice stones on a regular basis. I started with a thick application on my heels and other tough areas of my feet and left on for 15 minutes then rinsed. I didnโt experience stinging and no noticeable change. After a few days I applied as you would with lotion in a smaller amount all over each foot. Put on socks and left overnight. That morning I definitely felt smoother. Two more nights of this and itโs like I have new feet. No dry, hard, crusty heels. Even the areas that really didnโt need it look restored. This stuff works! Of course we all have different skin and react differently to products. Me personally, no irritation during use or extended wear; removal of thick, dry skin and restoration of soft skin in less than a week. I now apply it twice a week for maintenance. Using the scrapers and stones actually caused raw spots that were irritated. This stuff is no fuss and leaves no irritated skin.

I immediately ordered it and I was so happy that the delivery was fast
The skin on my heels started to crack in the summer of 2008 after a lot of walking while on vacation. From that day until now, my heels were so cracked, hard, dry and flaky. It's is so nasty to look at that I have not worn open-toe sandals or sexy sandals for 6 years now. I have been to dermatologists who prescribed very expensive creams but only relieved me for a week and the cracked skin always came back. They always say eczema, which is so generic that I gave up on it. My sister introduced me to Glytone. I immediately ordered it and I was so happy that the delivery was fast. I used it right away and saw a very huge improvement on my heels. I am so happy with the product. I just noticed that if I do not put it, my heels get cracked again although not as bad as it was before. Do I have to continue using this for as long as it takes? Can anyone help me with this?

Amazing product but use carefully
I used this product on my feet when I was recovering from a fungal infection and my feet were horribly dry and cracked deeply. I had tried everything else, but only had temporary relief. This product completely changed my feet. They went from being horribly painful and disgusting-looking to smooth, comfortable and natural. Two years later, I still rely on it whenever my feet start to dry and crack. For serious callouses and damaged feet, I wouldn't apply and wash off. Let it soak in and keep working. WARNING - If you have cracks, beware. It really is like pouring acid in an open wound. Use it on the surrounding area, and as soon as the cracks are starting to heal at all on their own, then use this in those areas. It will still sting, but only for a second and it is SO worth it. My dermatologist had me mix it 50/50 with CeraVe moisturizing cream (the thick kind in the tub), especially at first while my feel were so damaged and sensitive. That helped with some of the stinging effects. Wash your hands after using it. Works on dry elbows too. You don't need to use a lot. Cheaper on Amazon than at the doctor.

It really works!
i read the reviews before purchasing this. When I used it once and didnโt have the miracle result some people claimed, I almost returned it. I had one elbow where the skin had a dark, dry crusty layer. Nothing I used could penitrate it. After using this for a few weeks, the layer is gone. The way I apply it, is to use it before bed and again in the morning. Put it only where you need it or it will burn the fragile, outlying skin. Eventuallly, the area I was focused on dissolved and/or peeled away. I did not have peeling fingertips as others stated. Next stop, heels. Gave it 4 stars due to cost and that it takes a while to work. ****After 3 weeks, my elbow looks great! Now I just use it every few days. Raised my review to 5 stars because nothing else could cut through that layer of thick skin. Donโt be impatient like I was. Once a day usage is good, otherwise you might get burned.

It's like two angels came down from heaven and healed my elbows
All my life I had the ugliest, itchiest, driest, most uncomfortable elbows. I complained to my family, but they didn't understand and would just tell me to put more lotion on them. Regular lotion provides temporary relief but only for about an hour. My dad game me some natural remedies like emu oil and Pau d'Arco Lotion to try, but alas, they didn't work either. I did my elbow cream research on Amazon and decided to spend the extra money on the Glytone one. Since my elbows were super dry and cracked, the cream burned SO BAD the first few times. I just pushed through the pain for the 10-15 minutes you're supposed to leave it on and then rinsed it off. It still burned for about twenty minutes afterward but it eventually subsided. I noticed that my elbows weren't itchy anymore so the skin could heal on it's own now. After using it daily for about two weeks, my elbows were almost 100 percent smooth and normal looking and now I have the best elbows in town. You don't need to put much cream on, so this container will last a really long time if you're just using it for your elbows.

First thing that's ever worked
I've always had rough skin and cracked heels on my feet despite a daily care regime. It took a lot of upkeep to keep them somewhat presentable. I've tried foot peels but the effects of those are very short term before you need to do it again. I've been using this cream for about a week and my feet are the smoothest they've ever been with the least amount of work I've ever put in. Once the rough skin is all gone I'll start using this cream less often. Worth it.

Be careful using this product as it is very potent
This product is very high in active ingredients. It tingles and burns immediately upon application. Be careful if you have sensitive skin and only use it as directed. It is also extremely expensive. Use it sparingly to save money and reduce the possibility of damaging your skin. The delivery time was next day: however we live in Scarborough, Ontario and there is an Amazon distribution centre not too far away.
