2 Large Chamois Leather Skins Shammy Each Approx 2.5 to 3 Square ft. for £17.95 from Balbirnie Leather Co. Scotland

On average I hand wash my car at least twice a week and always dry the paintwork and glass with a chamois prior to using a soft cloth. A good chamois with high absorbancy is therefore essential to reduce the time taken. This is the first tme I have purchased chamois leather skins from the Balbirnie Leather Company and have to say that they arrived on time and were securely packaged complete with 'Care' Instructions. I was slighly concerned that the excellent value for money price might be reflected in lower quality skins but have to say that was not the case. The chamois skins appear to be of high quality, lovely and soft and and just the right maximum size to allow usage without being difficult to control. Their absorbancy rate is very good and make short work of the drying process leaving the paintwork virtually streak free. I have religiously followed the 'Care' instructions and have so far found that this process keeps the chamos skins in very good condition. I would have no hesitation in recommending Balbirnie Chamois skins as a good quality product which represent much better value than many other brands I have previously tried

Purchased many leathers on the internet trust me these are definitely smaller thank described and also odd sizes not square like you would buy in the shops .Avoid purchase elsewhere .

Excellent quality.

Having found it impossible to find good chammy skins in the shops, I resorted to a 'blind', on-line purchase. I can truthfully say that I have never been more surprised and satisfied with an 'Amazon' item. The quality of these chamois leathers is simply outstanding. Their softness, size and price exceeded all my expectations. I cannot recommend them too highly and would encourage, with confidence, any prospective purchaser to place an order with Balbirnie.

Good genuine chamois leather - decent size and thickness - prompt delivery - very happy! Just as an update -followed the instructions on pre -use wash using soap and have 2 excellent chamois leathers. Have cut one in half and kept the other complete - wiping down the car after washing is so much simpler as the water is quickly and easily removed - and they don't have to be wrung out too often. Use the cut down leather for the less accessible places and the large one for the doors, roof and bonnet etc. Works for me!

Excellent chamois leathers. Really pleased. Much better than the skimpy thin ones found in well known car accessory shops. Great value considering their size and quality. Would recommend.
