Lakeland Mills Cedar Log End Table, Natural

My wife and I recently had our front yard completely overhauled and that included adding a paver patio. This required new furniture and we looked high and low, far & wide for attractive, durable and affordable outdoor furniture. Those things typically mean overpaying. Not with Lakeland Mills. The furniture is well made, easy to assemble and good looking! The cracks are natural folks. They're not defects and they won't weaken the furniture. To date I've purchased 1 round table, 2 end tables, 4 chairs and 1 love seat...and something tells me we won't stop there. Really appreciate this stuff and the price cannot be beat for the durability of these pieces. If you undersand what you're buying, you'll understand what I'm saying. Enjoy!

Well made table; rustic, yet clean appearance.

The table is very sturdy and simple to put together. The only thing I would like to see changed is for the top to be cedar. I knew this before I bought it so I can't complain but that is the only reason for not giving it a 5-star rating. You will need to play with the legs before you run the screws in to make sure the table is level.

These tables feel super sturdy and look really nice. If someone was to walk in and drop their rearend on one of these puppies, they would know it landed on something very solid. Pros: - Solid - Sturdy - Looks great - Easy to assemble Cons: - You will need a rubber mallet (or equivalent setup) - The legs and supports are not cut perfect. We bought 3 of these tables and all 3 required a bit of additional challenge in getting them put together so that the legs were relatively sitting at the same angle. **They are not perfect but you cant tell it unless I told ya. - Does require stain, urethane or something else to protect from drinks, dirt, etc. They are unfinished and this was known before purchase. We are not deducting a star for this

The table itself is beautiful, and well made, once you get it assembled. Rough cut cedar 'logs' for the legs and crossbars, and very smooth pine for the top. It takes stain well, but NOT stain mixed with polyurethane. Stain it first!! (don't ask...). The only drawback is that there are long screws provided but no starter screw holes. You will need to drill them yourself (if you received yours like mine). The table actually stays together very well on its own without the screws. BE AWARE - If you like this table and wish to purchase another, you cannot. For some reason, Amazon placed a maximum purchase quantity of ONE on this item. As I cannot get a response, I am hoping it is a limited time thing and I will be able to purchase another in the near future.

Great little log side table. I read the reviews prior to purchase and they were mixed. I had no trouble getting the table legs to sit flush on the floor. The mallet is the answer to that issue, before you screw it together. I used wood glue instead of the screws. The parts fit together as they were supposed to fit. Everything fit snug. If your looking for a little log cabin feel in your house, these side tables are great. Yes, I would recommend and will be buying more of them. The only thing Chinese on the whole table is the screws. The wood is of the USA. Kinda hard to not find anything these days that don't have one aspect of Chinese about it. Like I said, I didn't use the screws, I used high quality wood glue instead.

This item is an end table I know, but we actually got the whole set here from Amazon. We have the swing, 4 chairs and now 5 end tables. We have had all but two of the end tables for over a year now and all I can say is, this is awesome furniture. We have it outside around a fire pit in South Florida. We did put one coat of water sealer on them for good measure. Originally they are a light beige brown wood color but with time they turn a very nice shade of grey. You could stain them but we preferred to let them naturally age. The seats sit a little lower than a typical chair but they are adirondack type chairs except that they don't lean back so far. Anyway, this is great furniture. Great quality! We've had oseveral gatherings and have been paid many compliments and no complaints.

The end table is shown in the image, with two coats of a quality pine stain. It does look better than the bench painted in a solid color, also from Lakeland Mills. For assembly ideally use a rubber mallet and put the parts together but not fully inserted, then tap all the joints to compress the supporting legs to provide solid support. Great that glue is not used at all, just the tight fit and then a screw to prevent movement in any of the joints. - though they almost seem superfluous. Recommended as rustic and practical.
