Highly recommend and perfect for my health issues
Absolutely delighted with my new exercise bike. With 2 people it was easy to put together. Some steps might be difficult with only 1 but not impossible. Its comfortable, sturdy and very well made. It was packaged well with no damage at all. Very impressed with the quality and it is very easy to use. I have mobility problems and suffer with fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis and I feel this bike is achievable. We only have limited space and really struggled to find a recumbent exercise bike so delighted this fits perfectly. Would highly recommend. Very very happy. UPDATE: 12 months later I still use it and it has been the best static recumbent bike I could have purchased. It's solid and well built and still like new; I use it 5 times a week and it has been amazing how well I have adjusted to using it with my disabilities. The cycling sitting position is very comfortable and easy to peddle despite the pain I suffer from causing no additional pressure on my joints. Definitely the best purchase I could have bought for helping my health. My husband even uses it. so suitable for everyone. I can not rate this highly enough and highly recommend.

I'm glad I bought this
I am very happy to recommend this exercise bike. I am a big guy and was worried that it wouldn't be sturdy enough. I am delighted to say this bike takes my weight no problem! This really is a quality product at a great price. I do half an hours exercise every day on it and it's very comfortable and even relaxing. It folds away neatly for storage but it looks great sitting in our living room. It is really well built and the assembly instructions are detailed and clear. Yes, I'm glad I bought this and I believe you will be too.

Good exercise bike with some minor quibbles
This is a solid, efficient exercise bike - not unlike some that I have used in the gym. I bought this to exercise my injured knee and it does the job well. It is quieter than I expected and was relatively easy to put together - despite the illustrations that required me to use a magnifying glass! I asked my son-in-law (a Rolls Royce engineer) to check it over after I'd assembled it and but for a couple of bolts that I hadn't tightened to his satisfaction, he pronounced it OK to use! I have a couple of quibbles: I had bought this for my wife and I to use and as I am much taller, the seat requires adjusting to enable her to use it. As this involves moving four bolts, it gets a little tedious. My only other quibble is the delivery costs that add almost another £100 onto a very reasonable purchase price.

Perfect for a fat old boy
I am over 50, 6'4" and quite a fat old chuffer. I have been looking for a recumbent exercise bike for ages but they all seemed to not support my weight and if they did were well out of my price range. When I saw this one, I just thought it was too good to be true, however plenty of positive reviews tempted me in to getting it. Assembly is easy enough, I managed to do it by myself, probably took about an hour but had a couple of breaks as this must be the hottest day of the year so far! The actual instructions seem a bit daunting at first but when you realise that all the parts are sealed onto a board and labelled for which step of the construction they are required. . .genius. (all the nuts/bolts are very lightly lubricated, so would advise having something to wipe your hands, not that is it messy, just that it makes grasping the tools a bit awkward sometimes) The bike doesn't take a massive amount of room up, so haven't tried folding it yet as no need for me. The quality of the parts is really good, no creaking when you get on and pedals hold your feet well. The only negative is that the seat it a bit on the firm side but this is just a minor niggle and doesn't retract from what is am amazing piece of equipment.

Extremely well engineered exercise bike.
This bike far surpasses my expectations- the build quality is second to none. It’s German engineering at its best in this field. It’s easy to put together (did it on my own, about 20 minutes) and exceptionally sturdy. Even the upholstery is superbly done - very neat work. The welds are smooth and high quality paintwork. Like everything that you first put together, after a few goes just check the nuts etc., as they settle once some load is applied to the unit. I had about 3 that needed less than a 1/4 turn to nip them back up. The resistance is progressive from almost nothing to quite strong, I use position 6 and this gives a good comfortable workout during 1 hour of peddling. This is highly recommended. Note the £100 postage actually includes the import taxes/paperwork etc., it comes from Germany and delivery was quick less than 4 days. Internal packing is above and beyond your unlikely to receive a damaged in transit unit (unless it got totally crushed!). Seat can be a bit uncomfortable for about 6 goes until you get used to it, thereafter it’s comfortable. Happy cycling.

Decent but with a few drawbacks.
Not truly recumbent as it still sits fairly high off the ground. And you'll never get a more thorough workout than you will putting this together. The assembly instructions leave out a few preparatory steps, like first making sure either you or your helper has some sort of advanced mechanical training; and that whatever friend you pick to help you with it, you need to make your peace with them ghosting you from now on if you ever need help again. This is very much not assemble in an hour, you need to clear out your afternoon for this. And be careful with tightening the bolts on the backrest. The welds there are right next to the upper bolts and if you overtighten, even by a featherweight, then they will pop right out. Seriously, be super careful here as the line between too loose and popping welds is superfine. Once it is assembled it is fairly simple to use though and you'll get decent work out.

Good bit of kit.
Bought this about 2 months ago and I've been on it nearly every day. Beautifully engineered, compact, sturdy, stable and a quiet, smooth action. The central computer console easily folds down to make getting on and off easily if you have restricted mobility (I keep a kitchen chair next to it to transfer across) Being able to move the handlebars out of the way would have been nice but not essential. The computer drained power from the batteries and the pulse monitor packed in during the first week but an email to the supplier had a new one with me from Germany with a complimentary bag of sweets in a few days (pre Brexit) - I'm now happy this was a one off fault. Would happily recommend this for the money - I never knew recumbent exercise bikes existed and certainly feeling the benefits now.

Really Good
The assembly is a joy. The instructions are clear and all the nuts and bolts are clearly labeled for the stage of installation that they will be used for. It also comes with all the tools needed to assemble it. I managed to assemble it myself in about 90 minutes as I took my time making sure I got each stage correct. When complete it was lighter to move than I thought it would be. It seems very sturdy and stable and is quiet in use. The seat adjustment for height is very easy to use. I've only had a 5 minute test drive but I'm impressed so far.
