Bought this after reading about this preventative from DEF Chrystal Growth.. A friend warned me years ago about his 2018 Silverado 2500 Duramax DEF system screwing up from Chrystals. They had to pull the cab to get to the damn DEF Tank, "Wasn't a Warranty Item". My 2018 3500HD hasn't caused me any problems of that type "YET". However, my PU doesn't get used often anymore. That is the problem with DEF! DEF has a short shelf life once exposed to temp 80F and above. It grows chrystals when exposed to air. I don't need $thousands repair bills. So far, no problems with DEF and this can only help. If they finally kick the EPA out of Gov, I will delete my diesel and will extend its life like they used to have decades ago!!!
