Nightmare to move and install...
This product is OK but.!!!! It states that handling and assembly can be achieved by 2 persons ....!! No chance.!! 3 Persons, the purchase of an engine crane £200.00 and 8 hours to disassemble from the pallet it arrived on and relocate to the correct location in the garden... !! This is not a job or product to be too slack or careless about.!!! It’s very heavy, very dangerous and cost’s more than you may envisage.. as I found out the hard way.!!!!

Weighs a tonne
Quite expensive for a BBQ and once you have it made up in position this then becomes a feature for the garden. However please be aware that this is an extremely heavy object which will require more than the 2 people needed as it states in the instructions. The main shell comes in 6 pieces of which 2 or 3 people are required for most of these. There is one piece which is the main housing/chimney which will require at least four people to lift into position, we estimate that this piece alone weighs 600 pounds plus. There are slightly smaller bbq's in the range which will be not as heavy as this particular one.

Not an easy home assembly
I would give this BBQ 6 stars as its stunning.... BUT.... and this is a HUGE BUT. This BBQ is NOT for home assembly. I bought mine from garden street. And it was described as lightweight concrete and easy home assembly. Don't be fooled it's not. For a BBQ that retails for around £1000 the first thing of note... its that you have to buy food safe bonding compound at around £15 for a bucket of it. At £1000 why isn't this included? Second thing.. and this is where it gets serious. The BBQ comes on 1 pallet. With all the sections stacked on top of each other. The base and the table section are straped to the side of the BBQ on the pallet. This means you have to disassemble it to move it. Or hire a pallet truck to move it. Lifting the chimney section (the heaviest bit) off the top is definitely not a 2 person job. 3 of us couldn't lift the thing and lifting it off would have been seriously dangerous. The risk of loosing fingers or crushed hands is high if you drop it because of the weight. Because of the height of you drop it and it falls on you then you are talking broken bones as a lucky escape. It could be a lot worse. So far... I spent £800 on the BBQ as I found a discount code. Spent another £92 on a pallet truck to get it to the back garden and then move the sections around once disassembled. £110 on a pair of extendable trestle legs. £50 on a chain winch. £40 on straps to hold the BBQ on the winch. Another £60 on wooden Joists and other little bits of wood. And so far a week later I'm still trying to get the top into a position where I can lift it back onto the constructed BBQ. Oh I forget £20 worth of concrete blocks to set the trestle onto. And I had the compacted base already. If this is going anywhere but a patio you will need to construct a suitable base. You can't just build it onto soil/lawn. Wish me luck getting the top back on. I'm terrified. Ideally this should be only built by professionals. Access for a small JcB or similar that would be able to do the lifting.. you can't build this with the stated 2 people. It's not an easy assembly and the risk of getting hurt yourself. Or hurting someone helping you is incredibly high if not using machinery. Please bare this in mind. Nothing against the BBQ. Its stunning. But unless you know what you are doing or have access to machinery it's NOT an easy self assembly

Stunning BBQ extremely heavy
In description it says at least 2 people required to assemble. I agree if you have a fork truck if not 4 to 6 strong adults and 20 breeze blocks. We got chimney which weighs 300 kgs onto strong wooden frame then lifted up one brick at a time first one side then other. Still a big lift to move it over onto rest of BBQ. It is a heart in mouth assembly as it got a bit wobbly after 8 bricks high. Not recommended for the faint hearted. But that said wow a real stunner and very pleased with it.
