THE REEL IS AWESOME. I USE 10LB BRAIDED LINE AND IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM. I'm LEFTY AND HAD TO CHANGE TO MY LEFT HAND AND RELL WITH MY RIGHT. THE REEL IS INTERCHANGEABLE. LEFTY OR RIGHTY .

Does the Speed Demon spinning reel have a reverse switch?

Yes it does. I don't recommend this reel as the quality is not good. I threw mine away after a year of limited use as the handle became loose and there was no way to tighten it. Also the reel became more noisy. Spend some extra money and get a quality reel.

Where can you find parts or does kastking do repairs on reels?

I haven't had any problems with my reel so I cannot answer the question
