Works great as described.

My batteries were of unknown age since I got them with a used trail cam. The lighted battery indicators were very helpful understand the status of the charging process and whether the batteries were going to be revied. Charging did take overnight but was successful for all 8 bateries.

Charges my AA and AAA batteries in a respectable amount of time. Sometimes I have to unplug and plug back in to reset but that’s no big deal.

Works but doesn't... once the batteries are fully charged I will out them in my video doorbell and i have to go through several before I find a pair that works. Idk why it does this but it techinally works besides this quirk

It's a good aa and AAA battery charger that works good

1.) I HAD 83 AA & AAA EVEREADY ENERGIZER RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES IN A BAG READY TO BE DISCARDED AT THE HOME DEPOT BIN. 2.) I HAD CHARGED ALL OF THEM WITH THE EVEREADY ENERGIZER FAST CHARGER MODEL CH15MN2 AND THE EVEREADY ENERGIZER SLOW 8 HOUR CHARGER MODEL CHP41US. 3.) BOTH CHARGERS DESIGNATED THOSE 83 BATTERIES AS BEING NO LONGER CHARGEABLE. 4.) THE FAST CHARGER SHOWED A RED FLASHER AND THE SL0W CHARGER SHOWED RED X'S. 5.) NEITHER EVEREADY ENERGIZER CHARGER WOULD CHARGE THE EVEREADY ENERGIZER BATTERIES. 6.) I BOUGHT THE POWEROWL CHARGER FY-828 (THE MODEL DESIGNATION IS HILARIOUS) 7.) AS AN EXPERIMENT I TOOK 8 OF THOSE SO DESIGNATED 'UNCHARGEABLE' BATTERIES, AND I INSTALLED THEM IN THE POWEROWL FY-828. 8.) WHAT CAN I SAY? E U R E K A !? A B R A C A D A B R A ?! I WILL SETTLE FOR W O W !!!!!!! 9.) OUT OF THE 83 'DEAD' BATTERIES, THIS AMAZING CHARGER RECHARGED AND RESTORED 81 OF THOSE BATTERIES, AND I HAVE BEEN REUSING THEM NOW FOR OVER A MONTH! 10) I ORDERED A SECOND MACHINE, NOW I HAVE 2 OF THESE AMAZING CHARGERS. 11) I DO NOT WORK FOR POWEROWL, BUT TO REPRESENT THEM IN THIS REVIEW, I AM PROUD.

Terrible. I don’t know what exactly is wrong with it but even after leaving the Amazon rechargeable batteries on it overnight the batteries still aren’t charged and the red charging light is still on. Completely defeats the purpose of trying to be more sustainable by not buying one use batteries. Really disappointed and unfortunately I missed my return window.

Great for AA batteries. Passable for AAA batteries. When trying to charge AAA‘s, they are fairly loose so they have to be put on a flat surface where they will not be disturbed at all. Still the unit functions well.

What a handy little charger! Works great and fits the AAA batteries really well. Some battery chargers, they do not hold them well, but this was does! It doesn't take up much room on the shelf.

Bought this in conjunction with Amazon rechargeable batteries. It is a workhorse! Love that it can be used for both sizes of batteries. It's holding up strong after months of use.

The charger itself seems to work fine, and I was able to charge 8 batteries at once on a 2A wall charger, but I'm not impressed with the build quality. The plastic is cheap-feeling and has sharp edges, and the battery terminals are flaking. It looks like rust, but I think it's actually the nickel plating flaking off in places. The plus side is that the plug is USB C, so you don't have to mess around finding a micro usb cable. If you get lucky and receive one without degrading battery terminals, it's not a bad value.
