Umbra 243004-410 Chroma Curtain Rod, Nickel, 137.1-228.6 cm, 137-229cm

Bought it for using as café curtain rod, because I like good quality stuff not the cheap made ones. This one looks good comes with a hook to hold the middle if needed with screws and double sided tapes.One thing let me down is the colour in the photo is way more yellow than reality. Gold tone is what I wanted hint for the 4 stars

Easy to put and great for those awkward window widths, the ability to adjust the length is great when the window isn’t a standard size.

I've used a fair few tension rods in my time and these are by far the best ones. They have a beautiful finish and are very easy to position and they stay put. I bought rods that are a fair bit wider than my windows to ensure that they wouldn't be fully extended which provides a stronger rod which will bear the weight better. I used this one for a six foot square French window and currently have two pairs of 'Pony Dance' voiles on it - I put it up on my own within a few minutes - I'm no spring chicken and have RA so I was delighted that it was so easy. I didn't need to use the provided support and there is no dip in the middle.

Good product arrived really late though most likely due to covid etc

This product is adequate for the job for which it was intended. It is however inelegant, rather bulky. I would not use it for a light weight fabric like a voil. I am using it temporarily while I wait for some curtains to be completed.

It's ok but it's not a golden color but silver

Very sturdy, had it positioned within minutes of unwrapping it. Does not slip. Looks far more expensive than it is. I use for a floor length pair of white voile curtains hung behind the french doors in the kitchen, gives that nice blowy effect when the doors are open!

This product is O.K.Fell down after initial installation, but after applying more tension to the bar, it worked fine.
