I recently purchased the Logitech K4850 wireless keyboard, and I’m honestly impressed. It exceeded my expectations right from the start. I ordered it last night and it arrived just about 15 minutes ago in perfect condition, which was already a great first impression. The keyboard itself feels solid, responsive, and well-built. The keys have a comfortable, smooth typing experience that makes it easy to work for extended periods without fatigue. Setup was quick and simple, and the wireless connection has been reliable with no lag or interruptions so far. It actually offers more features than I initially needed, but at this price point, I couldn’t pass it up. I’ve trusted Logitech products for over 25 years, ever since I bought my first computer, and they’ve consistently delivered quality. This keyboard is no exception. If you’re looking for a dependable, well-designed wireless keyboard at a great value, I highly recommend this one. However with all of that there is only one little thing that I didn't notice before I purchased it. When I looked for a keyboard I assumed that the ones I was seeing were ALL rechargeable, but I didn't realize until 5 minutes ago that it is not. Five stars from me.

Several years ago I bought a Bluetooth keyboard for use with one of my electronic devices and the stupid thing stuttered. Every time I typed a key it would show it twice. I searched and searched online for a fix for this and was unable to find one. In the past, I've purchased computer mice and keyboards from other big name companies and almost every time there has been some sort of hassle: you don't have the right driver, it's not compatible with your device, you need to install this invasive software, etc. So it was with some trepidation that I decided to purchase this keyboard. The KEY (pun intended) deciding factor was the brand name LOGITECH! Although I've only purchased 3 or 4 different devices from LOGITECH, without fail, they have been plug in, turn on, work! I have NEVER had a problem with a LOGITECH device, PERIOD! It has been several years since I've purchased from them and it seems that their insistence on QUALITY and RELIABILITY has not wavered. Okay, so the Logitech Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard K480. Just buy one! It is a substantial keyboard, meaning that it has some heft to it and it's solidly built. It's size is 11 1/2" wide X 7 1/2" long X just over 1/2" thick. If it's not regulation keyboard size it's pretty damn close. I was able to touch type on it immediately without having to adjust how I type. As usual, LOGITECH, realizing that people today have more than one device has made this keyboard switchable to three different devices. I recently purchased a new tablet and wanted to use the old one with this keyboard as a "typewriter" that I could easily take to work. I HATE onscreen keyboards because I'm a touch typist and I can type much faster on a keyboard than any teenage girl can thumb-type on her cell phone! So the first job was to pair the keyboard with my old tablet...took less than five minutes and that includes the time I took to go to the LOGITECH site and read through their documentation. WORKED PERFECTLY! Absolutely no delay in keyboard to tablet. It was as though I was typing on a typewriter! This morning I thought I might have a need to use the keyboard with my new tablet, so I turned the selector to "2" and paired my new tablet as well. WORKED PERFECTLY! Then I thought, "oh yeah, one of the reasons I'd started looking for a Bluetooth keyboard, that I'd since forgotten (duh!) was that I'd recently purchased a Fire stick and HATED their onscreen keyboard (no surprise there!). So I took the keyboard into the living room and sat on the couch and turned the selector to "3" and paired it with my Fire TV. WORKED PERFECTLY! I shouldn't really be surprised as LOGITECH has a perfect track record with me. I guess they take the extra time to make sure that their devices work as they are designed to do and work out any bugs before they release them to the marketplace, unlike many other companies. Since I'm using this keyboard on Android type devices I really don't have a lot of use for a lot of the computer type keys, but I'm sure that some others out there will make use of them and critique them for you. The fact that this keyboard can be used with three different devices with the turn of a dial and that it can be used with Windows/Apple/Android devices makes it one of the most flexible on the market and the LOGITECH brand name ensures that it is a QUALITY product, which my experience has proven has not faltered. I don't usually spend this much time on reviews. Amazon nags me about reviews of items that I've purchased and I will usually type one or two lines just to get them to SHUT UP! But this keyboard reminded me how reliable and serious LOGITECH is about providing electronic devices that do what they are supposed to do and prompted me to make sure that I wrote a review that I hope will encourage you to buy one! Because of another review I also purchased a carry case for it at the same time and I am rather pleased with it. It's great because the mesh area that they show with a cable in it is big enough for me to put my old tablet in and so I have one case with the keyboard and tablet. UPDATE: After realizing I had a defective unit and was outside of the amazon return period - I submitted a support request with Logitech and I was helped very quickly and courteously by customer support. I was dreading the interaction with Logitech (for no reason, just that I have typically found dealing with manufacturers to be more difficult than say, Amazon). My dread was completely unfounded and I'm happy to say Logitech sent me a replacement keyboard that has resolved most of my complaints in my original review. Keyboard switching WORKS! I can switch between a windows computer and an iOS device seamlessly without any extra key-presses. The power switch works as well. I cannot comment on battery life yet as I only just received my replacement unit. I'm updating 1 star to 4 stars but leaving my original review below. ORIGINAL: I have a defective unit and missed the return window by a day. I'll try to get a warranty replacement through logitech but be warned that this review is biased. Persistent problems: - Key presses will stick and I'll have to turn the device on and off and re-connect and hope that the 'a' key is no longer on repeat. - Switching doesn't automatically connect to a device (this could be the devices problem or my defective unit, I don't know). If I switch from position 1 to 3, I would expect it to automatically connect to my computer (or phone), instead I have to press the bluetooth connect button once. Sometimes it connects and sometimes it does nothing and I have to just kind of wait as there is no obvious feedback of connection or not. I think blinking blue light is attempting to connect and solid blue light is connected? but that's not always accurate on my device. Never auto connects to my iOS devices - I have to go to the settings and pair, every time. This could be an iOS problem though, I never have consistent luck with bluetooth devices and iOS. - Biggest faulty issue is my power switch doesn't work. I thought it was working fine until I realized one day when I faced a stuck key problem that when I looked at the powerkey, it was off, yet I was connected to a device. I then pressed the connect button and it tried to connect - while off. So basically, I can't turn my device off, which may lead to the next issue I have. Also, toggling the power button triggers a reconnect - so the power button does SOMETHING, but I have no idea what. - Batteries are dead after about 4 weeks of very intermittent use. I'm only in my home office for 1 day a week, so this keyboard got a maximum of 8 days worth of typing over the course of a month (being very generous with the amount of usage, it's probably closer to 5 days of use). Four weeks is a terrible battery life but maybe mine is defective. I use other logitech products which last much longer under much heavier use. Pros: - Solid construction. - Keyboard types nicely. I thought the key presses would be worse or more difficult because they look kind of odd in the photos but it's easy and comfortable to type on.

Bought this keyboard over 3 years ago and it's still going strong! This product is such an amazing keyboard! The keys are incredibly responsive, the battery life is really great (I only have to replace the 2 AAA batteries once every year), it travels very well (I've taken it on countless trips), it works with every device I have tried it with (works flawlessly on Linux.) Being an avid programmer and power user, I love the fact that this product has separate tilde and escape keys like a proper keyboard. I have probably written well over a million lines of code on this keyboard since the day it arrived and it still works like brand new! Fabulous product and this is easily one of my best Amazon purchases.

Fit for use

Got this as a replacement of Logitech MK240 keyboard. The keyboard is heavy and feels solid, you do feel the quality of the product. Paired it with my PC and Note 10, the switch between bluetooth wireless is seamless. I could immediately do typing just about 1 second after the switch between devices. Keyboard key feedback are not really quiet, could produce a little noise when you type faster (when comparing to MK240). Some may like the feedback, but it is not to my liking (a personal choice). Will keep it however, it is still worth the purchase. Hopefully with longer use and wear-in, it would be smoother.

Kids love it for school. Bought with carry case so perfect companion. Would be better if battery was rechargeable.
