Update: the company reached out to me after my initial review and confirmed I had a faulty device. They sent me an upgraded model which cleans beautifully and easily. Couldn't be more impressed with this seller's customer service, they went above and beyond! I read the negative reviews on here and was sure that it was a case of people not taking the time to learn how to correctly use it. I watched the video, read the instructions, and off I went. Bought the green one and they held together, but I don't think they'd work on anything thicker than my 18ish mm Windows. The string constantly snags on window fixtures if you're not mindful, which pops the outside one off. The inside squeegee cleans fine, the outside one only cleans well right at the magnets, which makes me think the blades aren't perfectly straight or the magnet isn't holding the device together strongly enough to evenly clean. Anyway. I started well. I got the hang of it , the outside piece hadn't fallen off.i put the blue cloths on to finish and then notice a deep scratch on the inside of my window. Look at the rubber blades and see a little bit of loose plastic stuck in them. I sold myself for not checking first and move on. I do okay, the windows are quite streaky but I figure it's better than dust and grime. The blue cloths are wet after a couple of windows and don't clean so well anymore. I encounter a few more string-snags and the outside piece falls and clatters off the wall outside, and eventually both green plastic cap pieces and both magnets fall out. I watch on in horror and the two magnets bounce and snap together. I sit down and finally prise them apart after five minutes, before supergluing them into place. All in all, an expensive and frustrating let-down that damaged one of my new windows.

Bought this as our windows are 30mm thick; the rubbers are too soft, leaving smudges all over, it’s not easy to use and well over priced. Besides, I caught both of my hands between the blades and couldn’t separate them on my own -they just snapped. These would cut children fingers in half, there are no warnings on the packaging. Definitely not health and safety checked, so be aware! I got a full refund from Amazon without having to return the product.

This product does just as it promises - it's a wonderful solution for double-glazed windows! It feels high-quality and works great. Do note - it does require some caution, as the magnets are extremely powerful, and can attract the two parts very strongly. That probably has nothing to do with that specific product - it's probably an issue with any product which is powerful enough to work on double glazed glass. Several tips for usage / buying: 1. Buy the correct version for your window thickness (D2/D3/... etc.) - do not go for more than you need. Yes - a weak magnet will keep falling, but a magnet which is too strong will be harder to glide on the window. This product is of good quality - find the version that fits you and you'll be good. 2. When placing the magnets on the window - DO NOT PLACE THEM AGAINST EACH OTHER. They will attract very strongly, and if you happen to use them on thinner windows - I suspect the shock might be quite strong for a thin window (that's another reason to buy the right version for your window thickness). Instead - place both magnets on the window - far from each other - and let them approach each other until they are stuck together. It'll save your windows from some unnecessary shocks. I read that one on another review - and it's a true and useful advice. 3. When not on the windows - use the supplied separator, and try to keep the magnets (=your hands) away from each other so they don't stick together. 4. RTFM. Especially - use enough spray / water on dirty windows, so the magnets can glide on them. Start from a wet part of the window so the magnet glides more easily. I hope it's helpful!

Purchased this to clean the insides of our secondary glazed windows, which hadn't been cleaned for at least 10 years and likely longer due to inaccessibility from both inside and outside. We can actually see properly out of our kitchen window for the first time since we moved in - the window cleaner did its job perfectly. There is a little bit of judder when the unit moves along the window - particularly from the 'other' side - but a bit of patience and multiple passes yielded a basically pristine inner window as well as the outer panes which were cleaned at the same time. I did buy a few additional cloths and I'm glad I did as getting any cleaning spray inside the secondary glazing is a challenge and so I used the first set of cloths quite wet to start the job of lifting the dirt, and a second set to finish the job and remove streaks. Wish I'd bought this years ago, and would have done had I known it existed. Looking forward to attacking the house's other secondary glazing in the coming weeks :)

Good idea but doesn’t work well

Seeing the bad reviews I’ve wanted one of these for years. I got one as someone gifted me £50 voucher so thought I’ll get one. We live in a big 4 story house with windows you can’t get to. Loft top windows middle windows I’ve tried everything tried to get a window cleaner wanted to charge me £250 then £150 a month. So left it 8 years of no window cleaning outside they was full of grime bird poo and dust I just couldn’t go another month looking at them. So give it a try if you make sure the inside one is super wet with window cleaner it does not come off what so ever and easier to manage just keep making sure the inside is wet all the time. And it slides across the outside perfectly. 10/10 windows are now the best down the close same with the neighbours they’ve never had them cleaned. As you can see all the houses are 3/4 story Ours are sparkling fresh and lovely now

This is a waste of money! I made careful research and bought the ( allegedly) right tool for my windows. It came in today and it doesnt work! The only redeeming feature is that has the ring and thread to recuperate the outside part. And I I used it a lot! It kept on falling off after 2/ second of usage. I tried dry, wet, with S pattern - it doesnt work! And I cannot.even have my money back! When I went to request a return it says the company does not accept them. This is a gimmick item - and at nearly 60 quid and overpriced one. Disgraceful! I had to work hard for my money, I dont have a moment tree in my back yard. Not offering a refund is so wrong. Do not buy this item, stay away.

Ok, so I have just spent over £60 on a device to clean my windows, have I just gone insane? Quite possibly. This window cleaning device is simple in concept yet is infuriatingly difficult to use. I made sure to watch the recommended video prior to purchase so at least I knew what I was letting myself in for. But despite this, the device is annoyingly fiddly to use. It will fall off the window if you run it too close to the edge of the window frame, and if you move it too fast over the window will also cause it to fall. The window panes (both inside and out) need to be heavily lubricated with a window cleaning solution to help it 'glide' but I never felt much confidence in the device... it felt like there was a learning curve in order to get the best out of it. And I really have little patience in 'learning' how to use a window cleaner, I just want the damn thing to work without having to figure out the best way to get it to work. So, to sum up, it's great in concept but the reality of using it falls short, it is also, I believe, over priced for what is two bits of plastic, a couple of magnets and two skimpy micro fibre cloths.

Utilisation pour une vitre qui ne s’ouvre pas au 7eme étage. Fonctionne super bien, facile d’utilisation. Avant apres spectaculaire !

Cleaning windows on the second floor of our home has always been a big process. Pull out the ladder, clean the outside and then clean the inside as a separate step. After being in our home for 30 years it was getting to be too much for us (do not like being on ladders that high these days). In addition there were always some streak marks left behind. We used this tool today and it is easy and amazing! Cleans the inside and outside at the same time with ease! And NO streaks. I should get a kick back for this daunting review! Do not hesitate to buy it works like a charm!

Está buenísimo! Limpie las ventanas de mi departamento en un piso 28, es un edificio nuevo entonces estaban MUY Sucias quedaron espectaculares. Me tocó darles 3 pasadas a cada ventana y toca hacerlo despacio pero funciona perfecto. Ya no me tocará esperar a que el edificio limpie las ventanas
