Works well.
Work well. After my throat cancer surgery I lost sense of smell. These provide some short term smell.

Simple and Effective for Sinus Relief
The NeilMed SinuInhaler is a simple, natural way to help clear my sinuses. I like that itโs non-medicated and easy to use anywhere. The menthol scent is refreshing without being overwhelming, and it really helps open up my nasal passages when Iโm congested. Great little tool to keep in my bag or at my desk for quick relief.

Inhaler
I had this brand once before and liked it, but the scent is different. Still a good value.

Better option
Discovered this product a few years ago and I used this product all year world whenever needed for any season. A better non-drug option. I recommend it to family and friends as well and a few of them have thanked me for it.

Great inhaler!
This product is wonderful if you have a head cold or just a stuffy nose. You place it at the bottom of your nose & just inhale. It's very easy to use. The medication clears your sinus passageway very quickly. It really helps you breathe! I recommend this product.

Soothing effect, but wears off fast. Don't overuse.
This inhaler doesn't administer a spray into your nostrils. You are simply inhaling--SMELLING--the vapors of the essential oil combination within the stick. It is not unpleasant at all to use. Like another reviewer, one of the "inhalers" in the 2-pack worked, and the other one didn't. The one that didn't work had little airflow and didn't have much of a smell to it, and no effect. The one that did work soothes my head when I have one of my common mild sinus headaches due to a pattern of not sleeping well. That type of headache can make it hard to fall asleep, and this inhaler soothes it enough to help me relax. THE EFFECT WEARS OFF AFTER A COUPLE MINUTES but it helps. To review the stick that wasn't defective: It doesn't seem to open my sinuses up. It just numbs/soothes, as menthol in a throat lozenge does. I haven't used it when very congested, but when I had slight congestion, this product didn't open it up. Since this inhaler doesn't administer a spray, but just a vapor of the essential oils inside, I assumed I could use it all I wanted. Sometimes I'd take several deep breaths with it. Then I developed pleurisy (inflammation of the pleura of the lungs). The doc didn't identify a cause and wasn't concerned. It went away for a while, but recurs occasionally. I discovered that its recurrence MAY BE connected with using the NeilMed Inhaler! I looked at directions online: inhale TWICE in each nostril as needed, for adults, (and once for kids). (I also saw online that essential oils can exacerbate asthma and other respiratory conditions. So, even though you're inhaling stuff that's found in nature, don't overuse it! After all, these oils aren't found in nature in these high concentrations.) Yesterday the pleurisy recurred after I'd only inhaled twice in each nostril, unfortunately. :( I can't say for sure if the essential oils in this inhaler are irritating my lungs, but I'm going to stop using it. In summary: PRO: Soothes more effectively than Vicks rub and the like, since you sniff it right into your nose. CON: Doesn't last long, and doesn't seem to open up the sinuses.
