Whatever metal they used on the inside is very soft. I bought this for use as a pocket/fidget coin, but it gets dinged really easily. So far the gold plating hasn't been scratched or chipped off. It's not as heavy as I had hoped, but it is a great collector piece.

A beautiful coin, I recommend it to everyone. I addict to collect all crypto currencies like Bitcoin, Ether, Lightcoin etc. Not overloaded with details and at the same time interesting enough. It’s a great idea to pack coin in a plastic case

Cheap Plastic
The "gold plating" is a plastic that had bubbles underneath it and had destroyed the designs when I opened the package. The coin itself is unlikely to be made of metal, its super lite for its size (about the size of a quarter). It is just a lump of cheap Chinese plastic. DO NOT BUY.
