Good for kids
Not suitable for pro/semi pro use, but great for kids as they attach easily to either thumb: the depression in the side of each shell means they can even be played without the thumb loops.

Great for using as mini-clapboard
I use them for sound sync since they are light and easy to carry, and quick to use compared to a full clapperboard. For my vlog this is the perfect solution that takes small space in my kit and easy to put away.

Only received half my order!
The description states that you get two sets of castanets (ie. 4 shells). I required 4 sets, so therefore ordered and paid for 2 lots (ie. 8 shells). However I only received half the order (4 shells). Amazon then make it very difficult to get in touch to complain and so the issue is still unresolved. The product itself is good quality, just wish I had received what I paid for. I will happily change my review when the customer service reflects this.
