Don’t listen to the bad reviews about sand fill or not floating. Read this review and it will all make sense! This stool is perfect!! We just put in an in-ground pool replacing the old above ground. We quickly realized the shallow end was a whole different experience than the above ground and wanted hangout spots so you’re not standing waste deep hanging out. These stools are perfect! QUALITY - it’s thick plastic without any seems that would concern me of ripping the liner. SAND FILL - EASY!!! All the reviews about the sand fill just don’t understand the basics. First - get yourself a .99 cent funnel. Just do it. Next - Use DRY sand. Any Lowe’s or hardware store will have it. Last - don’t dump the sand in the filter at once!! Of course it will plug up. Go slow and at an angle. The sand streams in like butter. Filling the bucket up took me literally 15 minutes without help. I posted a video in the review of what I did. SINK OR FLOAT? Sinks!!! Again, don’t listen to the reviews that it doesn’t sink. It does and I can bet money I know what they did wrong because I almost did it myself. When filling up the bucket, as you get closer to the top, it will look full. Because - think about a hour glass. Does the sand lay flat, or peak up like a mountain? It peaks up. SO - when it looks full, shake the container lightly side to side to level the sand inside and you’ll instantly see tons more space you need to fill up. Keep doing this until the sand just doesn’t move anymore. THEN it’s full. And you’ll in return have the proper weight of sand now to keep it sunk. The kids love it, we love it, and I might just have to get a second (or third!) now because it’s the hot hangout spot of the pool now! You won’t regret this purchase!!

These are exactly what we were looking for to turn our shallow end into a place to hang out and have cocktails without having to squat or “take a knee” to stay in the water. They were easy to fill with a large funnel and DRY play sand. Yes, they absolutely stay put and ours are right in front of the water return yet they are almost weightless to move around once they are submerged. As another review stated, it’s critical to make sure they are fully filled with sand by shaking the stool when it appears to be full. You will find that there is much more room for sand once it’s shaken. It’s very important to make sure they are full BEFORE you place the cap on the jug. They are permanent and cannot be removed once they are screwed on without stripping them like another reviewer did. The warning is right on the bag that contains the cap. I would highly recommend these stools, we just had our first pool party of the season and they were a total hit!

I purchased two pool seats in July 2021. Less than two years later, the seats began cracking and plastic started floating in my pool. Because of the cracks, and water leakage inside of the stool, it began to grow algae and green muck is floating into the pool water. I contacted the company and purchased seat replacements for $100 each. Before they even arrived, the bottom of the pool seat began to crack. When I pulled the seat out of the pool it crumbled apart. There is no durability factor with the integrity of the plastic used in the seat. Now I have two seat tops and no bottoms to put them on. At $230/stool, I am expecting much better quality and longevity with this product. Note: The stools had minimal use with only two adults using the pool.

Love these stools! Makes your pool a swim up bar, another outdoor room, and allows your guests that are in the pool to be part of the conversation! They are easy to get together, comfortable to sit on and easy to move around the pool! My daughter often works in the “pool office”! Expensive, but a fantastic addition!10/10 would buy again! O

I originally purchased 4 of these stools without the lights. Once I got the pool up and running I could not recall why I didn't get the lights so I called Envy Pool Products, spoke to the actual inventor of the stools and ordered the lights. They have made an awesome addition to my pool and I love them. The lights are visiable very well at night and add a cool colorfol glow to my pool. They are fun. Con: These stools are operated by remote control and the remote does not work while the stools are under water. Because the remote can not get wet (can not be submerged below water), the only way to turn them off and on is to lift them up above the waters surface and point the remote directly at the stool no further than 12" away. So for that reason they receive only 4 stars. As much as these things cost they should a lot more hassle free.

The stools are great everyone loves them sitting in the pool is better than sitting in the pool felt priced little on the high side, but they are great if they did not cost so much would have ordered another set

They became brittle and fell apart in two years. Considering how expensive these stools are you should get more than two summers out of them.
