Absolutely PERFECT light bar for large curved monitors
A few months back, I was in a pickle. I wanted a light bar for the top of my monitor to make notebook writing at night a little more pleasant without lighting up the whole room, but the issue was that I had a fairly aggressively curved monitor and all other attempts to do this were met by horrible glare on the screen, a janky installed look, and a poor user experience of having to reach over my 48" deep desk to the top of the monitor to turn the light on/off or make adjustments. Not ideal! But then fate intervened and I saw, for once, a relatively affordable light bar that brought promise of a better solution! Curved construction to match the shape of the monitor, a wireless control remote, expansive brightness and temperature customization, huzzah! But could it all be true, for a mere $59 (at time of purchase) when competing products are typically in the $100-200 range? Lemme tell ya: It was all true. This thing is OUTSTANDING. I purchased on 11/2 and have been using this thing heavily on a daily basis, for reference. Never once have I had any hiccups or odd behavior, the remote is incredible in a couple of senses: haven't had to swap batteries or anything the entire time even with me making constant micro adjustments throughout the day. Additionally, even after periods of no use when I assume it goes into sleep mode, a single click brings it right back and your adjustment is immediately made. No tapping it a few times to wake it up and then adjust, it's just seamless. As for the light itself, it's great! Tons of temperature range to get it right at the color you want, and it goes from super dim to easily lighting up the entire front of my desk. I often find myself only using this light when I'm in my office instead of the home's lighting due to its soft diffused glow and large brightness range. It also can be positioned very easily for you to set it up so there is no glare on your monitor, which is amazing. For reference, I cranked up the brightness in my attached pictures and still had to bring out the shadows in the image to see any glare. Again, it's truly perfect. The last huge win for me personally was how perfect of a match it was for my specific monitor, the 32" Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 4K curved monitor. For those trying to determine if this light bar is the shape you're after, my monitor has a "1000R" curvature and this light bar is an exact match for that curve rating on a 32" monitor. All I can say is if you're looking for a curved light bar with top notch features like a wireless remote and comprehensive adjustment options for an affordable price, this is the one. Pull the trigger. After using this I can't think of any reason why I would want to go in another direction, ONWAY knocked it out of the park!

Perfect for Curved Monitors, Webcam-Friendly, & Quality
I got this ONWAY curved monitor light bar as a birthday gift for my boyfriend, and he loves it. He works long hours at his computer and uses a curved monitor with a webcam attached on top. The light bar fits securely on his curved monitor and doesnโt interfere at all with his webcam which can be placed on top of the light bar. The lighting is soft but bright, with adjustable brightness and color temperature. Setup was quick, it looks sleek, and has a good build quality. Highly recommend this if youโre looking for something that works with a curved monitor and a top-mounted webcam.

Amazing value! Just buy one... trust me.
I just redid my entire desk setup and the one thing I knew I wanted besides a curved ultrawide was a lightbar. Of course I looked a ton of YouTube vids and BenQ was the one that everyone seemed to use... it was just too expensive for me. Also, some people reported some glaring on their curved screen on account of the BenQ being a straight angle. I hit Amazon and found this product and on paper, it had all the bells and whistles the BenQ had, but I was assuming the quality would be lacking. I gave it a shot anyway and I am blown away! This is my first time having a monitor light bar and that in it of itself completely changed my desk! It's such an amazing lamp that can act as a nice ambient light or a full on bright desk lamp if you want to work on something on your desk. The controller with this light is also fantastic. It feels solid and even though it's made of plastic, the texture it's finished in is really nice . You tap to turn the light on and off, rotate the top for brightness and turn the outside for color temp. There's also a light sensor on it that allows am auto mode and adjusts the light depending on the ambient light around, but I tend to manually control it as lighting for me is very mood dependent. Speaking of color temperature, it's great. I'm in video production and work with a lot of professional studio lights so I'm used to seeing really bad LED lighting that tends to throw a lot of green into colors which looks really bad. Not this. The lower kelvin temp is a nice amber color and the higher Kelvin matches the ambient sunlight in the room perfectly, though I always prefer a lower, amber color temp, Lastly, YES, it works absolutely fine with a webcam because of the added ridge it has. For reference, I use an Anker B600 and it's pretty big and heavy for a webcam (on account of the built in light bar) and it fits perfectly fine on top of the light bar. All in all, If you have a curved monitor, just buy this thing. I guarantee you'll love it and wish you had it a long time ago. I

The perfect lamp for a curved monitor.
This lamp is perfect! I mounted it on a new 34" curved monitor and it fits perfectly. The curvature of the lamp is identical to the monitor curvature. Since the lamp sits on top of the monitor and not on a stand, it has freed up a nice bit of desktop real estate compared to my old lamp. It also permits me to adjust the height of my monitor without having, like I used to do, to put something under the lamp to elevate it too. The mount is very stable, and it is perfectly balanced. I have no worries about it falling off. It lights my desktop very adequately with no screen glare whatsoever. I'm also very happy that it has a top mount for my infrared webcam. It has all the features I could ever want and the wireless remote control desk puck is fabulous. The adaptive smart brightness feature works perfectly. To top it off, it looks very elegant too. All in all, this is a terrific lamp and I recommend it highly.

Remote control is a little touchy
The actual light is great. Mounts sturdy on my monitor, light output is good. My one minor grip is with the remote. First the positive, which is that thereโs a separate knob to control temperature. I had a different monitor before where the remote required you to tap a button to toggle all the different colors, so this is much more convenient. However the auto brightness is a little finicky. You manually change the brightness by rotating the top, but you also tap that same part to control power and toggle auto brightness. The problem is itโs easy to accidentally rotate the knob while trying to press it, causing it to switch from auto brightness back to manual brightness. I think it mightโve been better if they swapped the functions of the temperature and brightness knobs.

Made a comparison to MELIFO with many positives
Searching for a curved lightbar for my setup, I found there werenโt many options to choose from. The best options I found were the MELIFO basic light bar and the ONWAY curved light bar. This is because I was looking for a simple light bar that was convenient, gave my setup a fair amount of light, and looked low profile on my monitor without being a distraction. Both lights are priced the exact same at $59.99 when they are not on sale, which is not what I paid to do this review. ONWAY typically puts out a โ$10 offโ coupon, so I got it for $50. The exact time I purchased the ONWAY, coincidentally, MELIFO started a lightning deal on their lightbars, bringing their BASIC light bar down to $46, so I chose to jump on it and make a comparison. ONWAY Light Bar First impressions, the light itself felt very heavy and sturdy, even though it is plastic. The material does not deter me at all, especially for the price. The box includes: โข Light Bar Unit โข Braided, right-angled, USB-C cable โข Remote control puck โข AAA batteries for the remote โข User manual โข Small Alan wrench for tightening or loosening the axis joints (for emergency) On top of my monitor, the mounting system is very well thought out. Not only is it heavy to hold the light onto the monitor but the multi axis points allow for compatibility with a wide range of monitor thicknesses. Once setup, this light is not going anywhere, meaning there is no wobble when touching the capacitive points on the front. (Both lights will be plugged in with a different cable that is NOT included with any of the light bars, just FYI) When turned on, the light spreads evenly on my desk, enough to cover my main workspace. The photo I have taken is with the light at max brightness and its warmest setting and it feels very comfortable to me. I am a sucker for warm, cozy lighting and, although it doesnโt feel super warm to what I imagined, it does feel perfect for my workspace. No glare is shown on my monitor and the light doesnโt peek out into my eyes when Iโm seated at my desk. The included remote can be used to control every feature this light has to offer. It is very easy to use and adds an extra level on convenience to my workspace. If I chose not to use the remote entirely, I can still use the touch capacitive points on the front of the unit instead. The touch points light up a very dim blue when turned on, which is not distracting, so you can see them when it is dark. When turned off, the point lights turn off and the power light turns red, which is also a nice touch. I tried out the adaptive lighting feature with the light sensor on the top and it works very well, but I donโt use it frequently. It automatically brightens and dims the light bar according to the surrounding light within the room. I also do not have a webcam currently, but there is a lip that sticks up on top of the unit in case if you need a webcam mounted on top as well. MELIFO โBASICโ Light Bar First impressions, this light bar is LONG! I took a comparison photo of both lightbars next to each other to see the length difference. I love having a longer bar because I figure the light will spread more on the desk (and it just looks cooler). Material is also plastic, and the mount is heavy, but not quite as heavy as the ONWAY. The box includes: โข Light bar unit โข Non-braided, typical USB-C cable โข User manual On top of my monitor, the mounting system is not the greatest in my opinion. I have read reviews about this light just โsitting on top of the monitorโ and couldnโt seem to understand until I saw it for myself. With the design of the weight in the back, it doesnโt pull back enough on the unit to feel secure while using it. It does in fact sit and stay put on top of my monitor, but it does not feel as secure, even when touching the capacitive points on the light. One design difference I did want to point out is that the touch points on this bar seem to be on the front, where the printed indicators are. The listing page and review photos I saw had the touch points as circles on the top of the light. I am not sure if I got an updated model or an older model but that was a bit of a surprise to me, not a problem at all. When turned on, the light spreads out evenly on my desk and gets warm, in light temperature, not heat. There is no glare that I could see on my monitor and no light peeks out into my eyes, which is excellent. I love how the formfactor looks low profile and isnโt distracting in any way. The touch points on the front of the light are responsive but donโt light up, which can be a bit hard to see in a dimly lit room. There are not too many bells and whistles included with this light bar which makes it simple and straightforward, which can be a great thing for some people, maybe not as much for me. One fun comparison point I found was that both lightbars have recessed LEDs which aid in keeping the light away from the user, which is an excellent feature, but the ONWAY light bar has a foggy type of plastic over the lights, where the MELIFO is clear plastic. I do believe that the foggy plastic makes for a softer light, which I like more than the clear plastic. (Iโve included photos for reference) Considering both light bars are priced the same, here is a brief rundown of the features I find. ONWAY Features โข Sturdy construction and mounting system โข Bright lighting that evenly covers the workspace โข Lit up capacitive touch points on the front โข Wireless remote for extra convenience โข An adaptive brightness feature with the light sensor โข A webcam mount โข Braided, 90 degree USB-C cable MELIFO Features โข Long formfactor for a slightly wider light spread โข A simple mounting system that feels loosely mounted โข Simple, non-braided USB-C cable โข Touch capacitive points on the front (not lit up) Final Verdict Although I find that the MELIFO looks a bit cooler with its long light that spreads evenly on my desk, with all the extra features the ONWAY has to offer, I feel the ONWAY is a better option between both products. The mounting system is SOLID, the touch points are easy to see and easy to use, the extra remote is an excellent touch that I use more than I thought I would need to, and the light does not distract me in any way. In fact, my desk looks boring without a light now, so Iโll be using it frequently. I am not saying that the MELIFO is a bad light bar, but if you are really trying to get the best out of the money you spend for your desk setup, I recommend the ONWAY light bar for sure.

Onway Lightbar Review - Surprisingly Excellent Execution and Value
Purchased to use on my 45โ ultra widescreen monitor so I would have desk lighting when I did not want the harsh ceiling fan light on that is only warm color. Packaging was decent. As someone who prefers products with sustainability in mind, I was disappointed with the amount of plastic wrapping and foam molded inserts once opened. Nonetheless, the items were secure inside and sectioned off nicely. Assembling and mounting on my monitor was easy. The adjustments for lightbar mount can be articulated in 2 places if needed (tighten or loosen the screws if needed which I did not need to). There is a USB Type C connection on the back of the lightbar and a provided right angle USB Type C to USB Type A which is nice to see it is removable in case you ever need to replace the cable itself. There is a mounting lip on top of the lightbar to use your existing external camera which I give a big thumbs up as this was my main concern with other lightbars. The wireless puck can be used to change the temperature color, brightness and power on/off. It is powered by 2 AA batteries (included another bonus). The pairing process requires you install the batteries which have a magnetic cover you press to pop off and gives a satisfying click when the magnets latch on/off of the body, then you press and hold down the top button for 5+ sec and rotate the body of the puck until a light flashes. I did not know where to look for a light flash and did not see one on the puck and I did not look to see if a light flashed on the lightbar itself. The puck paired right away so at least the pairing is relatively seamless. Overall, as long as this continues to work, I am honestly shocked at the value of this compared to the competitors. It looks nice, is very responsive to the capacitive touch on the lightbar and using the puck. I love the subtle curve the lightbar has that flows with the curve on the monitor.

Best Desk Light I've Ever Owned
I love this light! I think it is the best addition to my desk setup so far. As someone who has light sensitivity, and is on my computer all day for work then several more hours for school work this light has mad a great deal of difference. The auto dimmer is wonderful. I can leave this on all day and I don't have to think about it. In addition to the auto dimmer tou can choose to make the light brighter, dimmer, warmer, or cooler. It doesn't produce a glare on the screen. Also, I enjoy the ease of use and control with the remote as well as the controls on the actual light. Very happy with the quality for the price. I highly recommend! The monitor it is sitting on is a 34 inch curved monitor. I've had the light for about a month at the time of this review.

WOW...Impressed. Remote works well, good design and minimal light bleed onto the monitor.
I normally don't do reviews but felt I had to do one for this LED monitor bar as I was left impressed. While it was certainly pricey, the functionality and quality is excellent. I thought the hockey puck remote was gimmicky but I use it all the time to turn on/off the light bar and brightness. The other feature that impressed me was it was designed to for your webcam to be placed on top the bar which works as intended. Lastly, there is minimal light bleed onto the monitor. I've tried others that bled too much and I sent them back, but this one works very well. Overall, happy with it. The $30 certificate took the sting off the price. Highly recommended.
