Exactly as described a 100m tape measure. The end of the tape has a metal loop in which you can peg to ground or have someone hold while you run out the rest. Easy to put back in with a simple wind up manoeuvre using the handle on the side. Nice quality tape materials and the handle is all strong plastic

Bought for a specific purpose, but in the end it was not needed. I have used it as a normal tape measure and it's satisfactory. Well made

For the money this is an okay little surveyors tape. The body and winding handle are plastic and the winding handle does fold over for storage. Something I've always done is when winding the tape back in is to hold the tape between two fingers (like a cigarette) in front of the rollers, that way any twists or knots are removed from the tape before it enters the body of the winding mechanism. The numbers are easy to read and the whole thing is quite light and would fit into a backpack. Any ware and tear will be repaired with gaffer tape and I'm sure this surveyors tape will fulfill it's intended purpose this summer and beyond. It is easy to use, just be aware it is £20 odd and plastic so don't throw it across a site or try and use it to abseil from a helicopter or something and it should last well enough. One other note, the metric side is in black print so can be read in the dark and there is room to mark frquent distances with tape.

Good quality tape measure is accurate and robust.

Have used this a number of times since purchase and it’s been up to the task perfectly well. It’s fitted with a strong tape and a good strong blue frame, the handle is large enough not to keep scraping knuckles like my previous one.

I bought this tape back in July 2017 and I'm still using it today I snapped The Winding handle a few months ago but put it back together with superglue and baking soda... now the handle just doesn't fold back in on itself but winds in perfect... there's a couple of Little nicks in the tape but other than that it's perfect I've used it at least 50 times... update aug 2019. Still going ... ive repaired it a little but still does does job 2 and half yrs after buying. update july 2020. happy to say its still going strong... it is looking like I might need to to repair it with a bit of tape soon but that's not a problem I've definitely had my money's worth out of this give a helpful vote if ive helped you make an informed choice thank you for reading my review. mark
