Excellent value for money. Very nicely made for the price, neither loose or tight on lens or camera body. Aperture selection is easy and well defined. Works perfectly. Just remember there’s is no electrical connection so no AF, AE, VR or metadata. Doesn’t matter just make sure you can work manually.

Great lens adapter. Wasn’t sure it it would fit my A7iii but it does. It’s a slightly snug fit but does go in. Feels very solidly built and is perfect for my Nikon fit manual focus lens. It does have apaerture adjustment on it but you won’t know exactly what aperture you are on, but I’ve got an aperture ring on my lens so it’s fine.

Since there are a variety of these, this review is for the Nikon (G) to Sony E adapter. It works well with Sony A6000 with Nikon (G) DX lenses. I was unsure of it when I first opened the box, but I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and it is working well. Attaching the lenses seemed a bit tight at first and I was hesitant to apply more pressure, but it feels very robust (no movement) when attached. I have tested it with Nikkor 35mm F1.8 and the 18-55 kit lenses.

When I ordered the adapter, I didn't expect it to be so good. Fitted perfectly with my Alpha a5000 n Nikor lens. Build quality is excellent. The aperture movement is also perfect. Great adapter considering the price.

NIK(G) - NEX The build quality is nice, though quite heavy. When changing aperture, I don't know what aperture I am on and it is very easy to accidentally change the aperture, which is annoying if trying to film something.

Works well I'm using it on a Sony A7ii with sigma and nikon lenses. Good fit and lenses feel secure no light leaks. Aperture control is ok but only a small movement to go from fully open to closed this has not been a problem for me though. Would recommend for any one who doesn't mind a fully manual lens.

Works like a charm! Obviously no electrical parts, so no AF. or VR. The aperture ring is limited but it covers enough stops to be perfectly usable. Tried and tested using 2 G-lenses (18-105mm and 50mm, one crop, one fullframe) on an A7R . No issues at all! Also seems very durable with a solid metal construction. Well worth the price!

This adapter is bomb proof. Metal mounts at both lens and camera ends, solid, tight tolerances. Aperture ring motion is smooth with nice clicks (but you won't know what your exact f-stop is), and works perfectly with Nikkor G and D lenses. You lose autofocus, but you get access to all that Nikon glass. See pics for examples of D (70-300) and G (85) lenses mounted.

Purchased this to utilise my rather untouched Nikon lenses in my cabinet. Great build quality all metal construction. Wish the aperture ring has more stops - it only has 5 clicks - but I wouldn’t really use G lenses on anyway. The aperture ring is good for low light condition as you don’t want to change the lens’ aperture to open it up but you still wan to brighten up to compose the scene before taking shot.

Cuando cogí el adaptador tuve sensaciones de calidad. Pesa más de lo que pensaba. No es plasticucho. Eso me gustó. Tengo una sony nex-6 y queria adaptarle mi objetivo nikon 30 mm 1.8G. La adaptación ha sido perfecta. He configurado la cámara en modo focus peaking ( en youtube hay tutoriales al respecto) y me ha gustado el resultado más de lo que esperaba. Con este método puedes ver en la pantalla de la cámara, o en el visor, cuando está enfocado el objetivo. Se ven unas lineas (rojas, amarillas o blancas a elegir) junto al objeto enfocado y de esa forma te ayudan a saber cuando está bien enfocado. Muy buena opción de las camaras Sony. La nitidez y el enfoque de las fotos que he tomado me ha sorprendido. Estaba acostumbrado al objetivo kit 16-50 mm y esto ha sido un salto cualitativo tremendo. Yo creo que será incluso mejor que un objetivo fijo propio del sistema sony. La calidad que te da el objetivo nikon 30mm 1.8G dudo y mucho que se pueda superar con un sigma 30mm 2.8 o un 35 mm 2.8 Sony. La ventaja de los objetivos propios para sony es que el ajuste de es automatico, fundamentalmente el autofocus. Hay que tener en cuenta que con el adaptador pierdes el autofocus y el control del diafragma. Y aquí viene mi opinión por la que no es perfecto el adaptador. El adaptador trae un anillo para abrir o cerrar diafragma ( desde la cámara no puedes). El anillo para diafragma del adaptador solo tiene 4 posiciones. Una apertura completa, otra bastante cerrada y otras dos intermedias. De esa forma da poco juego para usar el diafragma. No obstante es útil. El resto de los parámetros como la velocidad y la ISO sí que puedes hacerlo con la camara. Evidentemente con el adaptador pierdes todas las posibilidades de automatismo que tiene la cámara. Hay que saber que el objetivo es como si fuese manual. Eso es todo. Si tienes objetivos NIkon y quieres usarlo en la sony mirrorless esta es una buena opción. Para mi ha sido un buena compra.

Den Adapter Nikon(G)-NEX habe ich gekauft um meine aktuellen Nikon Objektive auch an meiner Zweitkamera Sony a6000 nutzen zu können. Mit dem Blendenring ist das problemlos möglich. Der Adapter sitzt sowohl am Body der a6000 und an den Nikon Objektiven fest, also ohne zu wackeln, aber keinesfalls zu fest. Der Adapter ist an beiden Seiten sehr passgenau gearbeitet, sodass die Objektive auch gerade sitzen. Bei der Bildqualität gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Die Innenseite des Adapters ist komplett rau, sodass kein Streulicht reflektiert wird und Einfluss auf das Bild nehmen könnte. Hauptsächlich nutze ich mein Nikon Weitwinkel und mein 100mm Macro. Für Low-Light hatte ich jetzt mein Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 35mm 1:1,8G verwendet was perfekt funktioniert. Dass ich mit solche einem Adapter keinen Autofokus nutzen kann, keine Blende angezeigt wird etc. ist einem ja bekannt wenn man einen Adapter verwendet. Durch die Kantenanhebung der Sony kann man meiner Meinung nach sehr gut und schnell manuell scharfstellen. Auch mein neues Sigma 70-200 2.8 Sports funktioniert einwandfrei, wobei die Sony a6000 wirklich lächerlich an dem Objektiv aussieht wie sie so niedlich am Objektiv dranhängt :-) Wenn ich ein Nikon Objektiv am Adapter lassen will wenn ich mit kleiner Ausrüstung unterwegs bin, wäre das Objektiv auf der Rückseite ohne Staubschutz. Dafür habe ich mir einen Original Sony eMount Deckel gekauft (Sony ALC-R1EM Objektivdeckel (hinten) für Alpha-NEX-Kameras). Ein kleines Minus, mit dem ich aber leben kann - der manuelle Blendenring überträgt die voreingestellte blende mechanisch an das Objektiv, was gut funktioniert. Leider hat der Blendenring am Adapter keine Skala und deutlich weniger Stufen, als es meine Nikon Objektive haben. Im Ergebnis kann ich nach meiner persönlichen Erfahrung eine Kaufempfehlung aussprechen. Update 16.12.2020 Jetzt bin ich auf Sony Vollformat umgestiegen. Auch an meiner Sony A7R2 funktioniert der Adapter einwandfrei. Der Adapter sitzt nach wie vor stramm und nichts wackelt. Ich bin echt begeistert. Manche negativen Rezessionen kann ich nur auf Unkenntnis schließen. Wenn ich den Adapter kaufe weiß ich (oder sollte es zumindest) dass damit kein Autofokus funktionieren kann.
